The Arizona Cardinals signed veteran running back Damien Williams earlier in the week, making many believe that he would get an opportunity to play in Week 5 with Keaontay Ingram dealing with a neck injury,
That will not be the case.
The Cardinals announced their Saturday roster moves, elevating two players from the practice squad. Williams remains on the practice squad.
Instead, they elevated defensive lineman Ben Stille and running back Corey Clement.
With Jonathan Ledbetter ruled out of the game, the Cardinals needed another body on the defensive line. This is the second time Stille has been elevated. He was also elevated to the active roster and played against the Dallas Cowboys.
Clement is elevated for the second straight week, suggesting that Ingram might miss a second straight game.
He played only special teams last week with Emeari Demercado getting all the backup running back reps behind James Conner.
The Cardinals and Bengals kick off Sunday afternoon from State Farm Stadium at 1:05 p.m. Arizona time. The game will air on FOX.
