National champion. First-round pick. Pro Bowler. Playoff winner. Philanthropist. Author.
Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson is adding more roles to his 24-year-old life, an existence that has forged many lessons he will share in his upcoming book “Pass it On.”
Co-authored with Lavaille Lavette and published by Thomas Nelson, the book chronicles Watson’s life from his childhood in Gainesville, Georgia, to college football excellence at Clemson, to his first three seasons with the Texans.
“In ‘Pass It On’ Deshaun opens up about the seven core values that have guided him on his own journey,” a press release stated about the book. “Generosity. Empathy. Self-Sacrifice. Service. Commitment. Strength. Values in Action. Interweaving stories from his life with practical advice that every reader can apply, Deshaun demonstrates how true strength lies in putting others first.”
Fans can pre-order a copy. The book will be available for a wide release in July.
