Tom Brady says goodbye to his golf cart on Instagram

Bucs QB Tom Brady took to Instagram to bid farewell to the golf cart he used during last month’s charity golf event “The Match.”

Last month, Bucs QB Tom Brady took some time off from football to hit the golf course with Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning, all for a good cause.

The four legendary sports icons took part in The Match: Champions for Charity, which helped raised $20 million for COVID-19 relief. The team of Brady and Mickelson may have ultimately fallen to Woods and Manning, but the money raised and the memorable moments on the course — including this sweet shot from Brady — made it a great event for everyone involved.

Today, Brady took to Instagram to say goodbye to the golf cart he used for that event, as it will now be donated. Take a look at some of Brady’s story pictures below.

Tom Brady learned a few lessons on the golf course last weekend

Bucs QB Tom Brady took to Instagram to talk about some of the lessons he learned last weekend during “The Match: Champions for Charity.”

Tom Brady took part in the golf event The Match: Champions for Charity last Sunday, along with Peyton Manning, Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods, helping raise $20 million for COVID-19 relief.

Brady and the others did their fair share of trash-talking before and during the event, all in good fun, and the new Bucs quarterback even had a sweet chip in shot.

But it seems the future Hall of Famer learned a couple of lessons on the golf course, too, which he shared with fans on Instagram. Take a look.

I learned a few lessons from this past weekend’s golf tournament with @philmickelson @tigerwoods and #Peyton…I had a lot of fun and grateful to be part of an event that raised a lot of money for Covid relief: 1. Amazing what happens when groups of people come together for the common good. 2. Peyton is still as clutch as ever. 💯 3. I did not escape the inclement weather…heavy stuff…ALL DAY. 4. I shouldn’t wear the same pants to golf that I wear to church. 🤬 5. As great as @philmickelson is as a golfer, he is a better man, coach and teammate and potentially has the best calves on the PGA Tour. 6. I really enjoy golf…at halftime of football games we get checked for concussions, in golf, you get refreshments. 7. It was nice to be the young guy again. 👍🏼 8. @tigerwoods was a great host and champion, and I was especially thankful he missed that putt on the 7th hole…had he made it, I would have just went home. 😂 9. I’m sticking to my day job 🏈

Tom Brady got the best surprise after his golf match

Bucs QB Tom Brady had a great day on the golf course raising money for a good cause, but the best part of his day came when he got home.

Tom Brady and Phil Mickelson fell to Peyton Manning and Tiger Woods in Sunday’s charity golf event, The Match: Champions for Charity, which raised $20 million for COVID-19 relief.

There was plenty of friendly trash-talking going on, and even Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson threw a playful jab at Brady on Twitter. But the Bucs QB was a good sport the entire time, even after ripping his pants.

From raising money for a good cause to having some fun on the golf course, too, Brady had himself a day. But, the greatest surprise it seems was waiting for him when he got home.

Take a look.

There’s no place like home.

Tom Brady proves he’s clutch even on the golf course

Bucs QB Tom Brady showed off his golf skills during “The Match: Champions for Charity.”

The Match: Champions for Charity has been a much-needed source of sports entertainment for fans during this time of social distancing.

Bucs QB Tom Brady, along with Phil Mickelson, are teaming up to take on Peyton Manning and Tiger Woods in a charity event to help those in need during the coronavirus pandemic.

The match has been fun to watch, but it’s also provided further proof of how clutch Brady is, even off the field.

Take a look at this shot from the six-time Super Bowl champion.

Money.

Russell Wilson may want to rethink this tweet now.

Russell Wilson posts hilarious ‘Happy Gilmore’ spoof to roast Tom Brady

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson posted a hilarious video on Twitter as a way to talk some friendly trash to Tom Brady.

Tom Brady and Phil Mickelson are taking on Peyton Manning and Tiger Woods today in The Match: Champions for Charity.

The event itself is sure to provide entertainment and plenty of friendly trash talking between the competitors.

But, it seems the trash talking will extend beyond the golf course, too, at least in the case of Tom Brady. Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson posted the hilarious video below on Twitter, spoofing off an infamous scene from the movie “Happy Gilmore.” Aside from the terrible dubbing, it’s fantastic.

Take a look.

Brady, of course, still gets the last laugh, as his Patriots shocked Russell Wilson and the Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX thanks to Malcolm Butler’s game-saving interception at the goal line.

Eli Manning gets pleasantly roasted by Tom Brady after joining Twitter

Former New York Giants QB Eli Manning finally joined Twitter and was immediately welcomed by former rival Tom Brady.

Bucs QB Tom Brady has won six Super Bowls in nine appearances, with two of those losses coming at the hands of Eli Manning and the New York Giants.

The Giants famously upset the 18-0 New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII following the 2007 season, and again spoiled Brady’s shot at a fourth title in Super Bowl XLVI. Manning walked away as Super Bowl MVP both times after leading the Giants to comeback wins in the fourth quarter.

And, it seems those fourth-quarter comebacks still eat away at Brady, evident by this playful roast he gave Manning after the former Giant finally joined Twitter.

Take a look.

Brady will be facing off against the other Manning brother on the golf course this weekend, as he and Peyton will be taking part in The Match: Champions for Charity along with Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods.
