Zach Ertz takes out a full-page newspaper ad in The Inquirer to thank Philadelphia Eagles fans one last time

The Zach Ertz era is over in Philadelphia after the star tight end was traded to the Arizona Cardinals over the weekend.

Always a class act, Ertz took time to pen this thank you letter to Eagles fans, taking out the whole back page of the sports section in The Inquirer.

Ertz, who had played already last week for the Eagles in their 28-22 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was traded to the Cardinals Friday morning.

Ertz could have taken the weekend to process the trade, instead, he chose to fly to Phoenix, take his physical, and then travel with the team to Cleveland for the game so he can meet teammates and start learning the offense with the coaches.

The Cardinals got a really good one.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys: NFL experts make Week 3 picks

The Eagles and Cowboys will have the football world all to themselves on Monday night, as both teams (1-1) compete for the division lead.

The Eagles will be without starting left tackle Jordan Mailata, who suffered a knee sprain this week and they’ll be without defensive end Brandon Graham and right guard Brandon Brooks for the foreseeable future.

The experts have made their picks and Dallas is the clear favorite.
