Marvel fans shared so many incredible theories after seeing the latest ‘Eternals’ trailer

The trailer revealed A LOT of important details. But there was plenty of mystery, which left fans to speculate.

This article includes basic plot information and … rampant speculation about the coming Marvel movie, Eternals. If you don’t want to see any potential spoilers, then it’s best to duck out of this article.

Marvel released a trailer for Eternals and it answered so many questions. In fact, the trailer almost felt like a direct response to fans who walked away from the first teaser trailer with nothing but questions. (I was one of those fans left following the crumbs of information.)

There are clear takeaways from Thursday’s trailer (and my colleague Michael Sykes covered them) with hard facts about the Eternals, the Celestials and the Deviants. We learned why the Eternals didn’t participate in The Avengers’ war against Thanos. (Essentially, they were told not to. By whom? Well, we’ll get to that.) But this trailer still left us with plenty of questions. So let’s dive into some of the fan theories.

Four big things we learned from ‘The Eternals’ brand new trailer

The Eternals looks like it’s going to be so good.

After an incredibly quiet 2020, Marvel is making a lot of noise both in homes and in theatres to close out 2021.

Particularly, on the big screen, we’ll be getting three huge movies to close the year out: Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, The Eternals and Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Fans are excited to see what will happen in all three, but they might be most curious about what is to come in The Eternals. They’re so fascinating.

The Eternals are these celestial beings that have, apparently, always been on Earth with these incredible powers. But we’ve never even seen or heard of them…until now.

The latest trailer dove into that a bit and had fans hype.

Whew. November 5 can’t get here fast enough. There’s so much happening in this trailer. And we learned so much about them all in just a few minutes.

Here’s everything you should take away from this final trailer before heading into the movie.
