Anyone that went deep down The Division‘s infectious rabbit hole will be happy to know that those loot-scavenging adventures are far from over.
On Wednesday, Ubisoft announced Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence for iOS and Android devices. This free-to-play third-person shooter will be playable solo or in co-op, with loads of PvP missions, storylines, and world activities to sink your teeth into during free-roam expeditions. It’s unclear if fan-favorite modes like domination, skirmish, and conflict will return, but Ubisoft claims Resurgence builds on much of what made prior Division titles unique.
The Division Resurgence will take place in “post-crisis” New York City, offering an alternative look at several major plot beats from past entries in the series. Discovering how various storylines connect is all part of Resurgence‘s appeal.
Check out The Division Resurgence‘s reveal trailer below. Pretty impressive visually, at least from a glance.
As you might expect, character customization is a massive part of The Division Resurgence. There’ll be lots of skills and specializations to choose from and (of course) plenty of sweet gear. It wouldn’t be an online RPG without fabulous threads, after all.
While there’s no release date for The Division Resurgence yet, you can sign up for upcoming playtests here. The full release will also be available via the App Store and Google Play.
