Texas A&M soccer is giving Lionel Messi a run for his money regarding reality-defying goals. In case you missed it, goalkeeper Kenna Caldwell drilled a spectacular free kick from midfield to give the Aggies a 2-0 shutout win over Tulsa. Caldwell was named Player of the Match as Texas A&M moved to 1-2-1 in the early season.
Caldwell’s rare combination of a goal and shutout not only garnered attention from Aggie fans, rather it received acclaim from none other than the worldwide leader in sports. As is custom in the sports landscape, whenever you witness a spectacular feat from an athlete, it begs the question, “Will it make it on SportsCenter?”
Aggies fans have their answer as Caldwell’s spectacular goal landed in SportsCenter’s Top 10 of the night. As Texas A&M social aptly noted, Caldwell may rock the No. “0” on the pitch, but she’s No. 6 when it comes to SportsCenter’s greatest plays of the night:
number 0 on the pitch.

Texas A&M remains undefeated against Tulsa with a 5-0-0 advantage in their all-time series. Next up for the Aggies is a matchup with the TCU Horned Frogs on Sunday, Sep. 3. Kick-off is set for 7 p.m. CT from Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium.
