Texas A&M recently hosted 2026 4-star WR out of Texarkana (TX)

2026 4-star wide receiver Dequane Prevo is coming off a camp invite/visit to Texas A&M

While Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class has continued to take shape this offseason, head coach Mike Elko and his offensive staff are focused on adding future playmakers in the passing game, which includes a 2026 wide receiver with plenty to offer on the field.

Last Thursday, four-star wide receiver Dequane Prevo, out of the 2026 recruiting cycle, attended one of Texas A&M’s annual summer camps while meeting with Elko to discuss his future. The Texarkana (TX) native is set to enter his junior season at Liberty-Eylau HS.

Dequane Prevo, a 2026 wide receiver prospect, is a standout in the making. At 5’10” and 160 pounds, he’s a dynamic player with the potential to add more weight to his frame. Already a force to be reckoned with on the field, Prevo’s agility and speed make him a top choice for Texas A&M, as predicted by multiple analysts.

As a two-sport athlete, playing basketball and participating in multiple events in Track & Field, Prevo’s speed is undeniable, running a reported 22.77 200-meter dash at the end of the 2023 season.

According to 247Sports, Prevo is currently positioned as the 245th-ranked prospect in the 2026 class, the 16th-ranked athlete, and the 32nd-ranked prospect in Texas.

2026 4-star WR out of Texarkana (TX) will visit Texas A&M this month

2026 4-star wide receiver Dequane Prevo will reportedly visit College Station next weekend

While Mike Elko and his staff are laser-focused on building the Aggies’ 2025 recruiting class this summer, making progress with the 2026 recruiting cycle is equally important. Plenty of 2026 talent, including four-star wide receiver Dequane Prevo, is headed to College Station this month.

Out of Texarkana (TX), Prevo is a twitchy, versatile athlete who will likely transition to full-time wide receiver at the next level. At 5’10 and just 160 pounds, Prevo will need to add healthy mass to take hits, especially if SEC play is in his future.

This week, Prevo announced that he will visit Texas A&M on Thursday, June 20. The incoming junior at Liberty-Eylau HS has already received a prediction to land with the Aggies, as former A&M head coach Jimbo Fisher had already had an eye on Prevo since his freshman season.

On the field, his play speaks for itself, and his speed on the track answers any lingering questions regarding his athleticism. At the end of his 2023 season, he ran a reported 22.77 200-meter dash.

According to 247Sports, Prevo is currently positioned as the 245th-ranked prospect in the 2026 class, the 16th-ranked athlete, and the 32nd-ranked prospect in Texas.

Texas A&M is a finalist for 2026 4-star QB out of Orlando (FL)

Texas A&M is now a finalist for a rising quarterback prospect out of Orlando, Florida.

With the recent success of recruiting top quarterback prospects, Texas A&M, under new head coach Mike Elko, has continued to garner attention from future collegiate signal callers, including 2026 four-star quarterback Dereon Coleman out of Orlando, Florida.

Under Elko, the Aggies have already landed a commitment from five-star QB Husan Longstreet out of California. Now, Coleman, who released his updated Top 8 program list, has Texas A&M as a finalist among seven other suitors, which includes UCF, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Ole Miss, TCU, Illinois, and Nebraska.

At 6-1 and 165 pounds, Coleman may not fit the traditional mold, but his unique blend of skills sets him apart. As a proven duel-threat prospect with above-average arm strength, impressive touch, and consistent accuracy between the hashes, Coleman brings a dynamic element to the game. His athleticism overcomes any concerns about his average stature, making him an exciting prospect to watch.

During his 2023 sophomore campaign at Jones HS, Coleman threw for 2,236 yards, 16 touchdowns, and six interceptions while rushing for nearly 250 yards and four touchdowns.

According to Rivals, Coleman is currently positioned as the 158th-ranked prospect in the 2026 recruiting class, the 25th-ranked prospect in Florida, and the 5th-ranked quarterback in the country.

With 13 commitments in the 2025 cycle, A&M’s 2026 cycle is currently bare but has the chance to gain momentum. A bevy of future prospects will also descend on College Station, which now includes five-star Edge Anthony Jones out of Mobile, Alabama.

According to On3’s Chad Simmons, Jones, who has already received nearly 30 offers, is a newcomer to Elko’s visitors list, set to visit on June 15, as the Aggies are smart to get in the running early for one the most talented edge rushers in the country.

He has racked up 130 tackles, 15 sacks, two interceptions, and three touchdowns on offense. Elite 2026 OT out Baton Rouge (LA) recently visited Texas A&M

2026 5-star offensive tackle Lamar Brown recently took part in Saturday’s prospect camp at Texas A&M

The 2026 recruiting class at Texas A&M is still in its early stages, but the anticipation is building. Head coach Mike Elko and his staff are finalizing the 2025 cycle this summer, and a wave of high-profile prospects, including potential game-changers, are set to visit College Station as early as next weekend.

Over the weekend, Elko and his offensive and defensive staff organized a camp for future prospects, primarily targeting the 2026 and 2027 cycles. Among them, Lamar Brown, a five-star offensive tackle, showcased his potential through rigorous drills, leaving a lasting impression on the attendees

Brown, who is entering his junior season at University Lab HS, is by far one of the most versatile prospects. He possesses the size, strength, and athleticism to play on either side of the trenches, showing off his pass-rushing ability during said drills, as his collegiate position is still up in the air.

With a future return to Texas A&M likely in the works, Florida, Oregon, USC, Florida State, and Georgia are also in the mix heading into the summer months.

According to 247Sports, Brown is currently positioned as the 9th-ranked prospect in the 2026 class, the No. 1-ranked IOL, and the No. 1-ranked prospect in Louisiana.

Texas A&M offers 2026 3-star OT out of Wayne (NJ)

Texas A&M has offered one of the rising 2026 offensive line prospects out of New Jersey

Hoping to build momentum this summer, Texas A&M’s 2026 recruiting class may be bare in its current state, but that doesn’t mean future commitments aren’t on the horizon. On Tuesday, it was reported that head coach Mike Elko and his staff had offered 2026 3-star offensive tackle Marlen Bright of Wayne, New Jersey.

A New Jersey native, Elko became very familiar with the area during his time as Texas A&M’s defensive coordinator, landing multiple players from the Garden State. Former head coach Jimbo Fisher gained a commitment from current Aggies offensive tackle Chase Bisontis in the 2023 recruiting class, who was a favorite to land with hometown Rutgers at the time.

So far in the 2025 cycle, Aggies O-line coach Adam Cushing has landed four offensive line commitments, so it’s not surprising that Marlen Bright is now on the Aggies’ radar. Standing at 6-6 and over 260 pounds, Bright is similar in body type to Bisontis while performing with a similar consistent toughness.

According to 247Sports, Bright is currently the 24th-ranked offensive tackle and the 8th-ranked prospect in New Jersey.

2026 5-star OT out of Baton Rouge (LA) will visit Texas A&M this summer

One of the top offensive line prospects in the 2026 recruiting class will visit College Station next month

The 2026 recruiting class is filled with future defensive talent. While Texas A&M will host a long list of 2025 prospects, the 2026 cycle will be featured throughout the next two months, led by five-star defensive lineman Lamar Brown out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Brown, who is entering his junior season at University Lab HS, is by far one of the most versatile prospects. He possesses the size, strength, and athleticism to play on either side of the trenches, but his collegiate future will likely continue on the offensive line.

Standing at 6-4 and 275 pounds, Brown has received nearly 20 offers. Starting next month, On3’s Sam Spiegelman has revealed that Brown will visit Texas A&M on June 1 and UCF on June 7-8, while Florida, Oregon, USC, Florida State, and Georgia remain in the mix for a future visit.

Without a 2026 commit, you can trust Aggies head coach Mike Elko to make a splash as soon as June hits. In terms of landing offensive line talent, Elko and his staff have already acquired four OL commits in the 2025 cycle.

According to 247Sports, Brown is currently positioned as the 9th-ranked prospect in the 2026 class, the No. 1-ranked IOL, and the No. 1-ranked prospect in Louisiana.

Texas A&M offers 2026 5-star QB out of Fort Lauderdale (FL)

Texas A&M has offered elite 2026 5-star QB Dia Bell

Looking toward the future, Texas A&M’s 2026 recruiting class may not have a single commitment yet, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t “irons in the fire,” as they say. Already offering several intriguing 2026 prospects this week, head coach Mike Elko and his staff followed things up by offering one of the top signals callers in the cycle on Wednesday.

Officially on the Aggie’s radar, 2026 5-star quarterback Dia Bell, out of the prestigious American Heritage in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, has received his offer to the program after speaking with Elko, A&M wide receivers coach Holmon Wiggins, and senior analyst Josh Buford.

Following in the footsteps of the elite athletes who have come out of American Heritage of the past decade, Bell, who stands at 6-2 and 195 pounds, possesses impressive arm strength, accuracy, and touch while consistently showing an ability to make plays out of structure.

As the son of 12-year NBA shooting guard Raja Bell, it’s no surprise Dia is already one of the more developed quarterbacks in the country, regardless of age and experience. During Bell’s 2023 sophomore season, he completed 65% of his passes for 1,929 yards, 20 touchdowns and four interceptions on the year.

According to 247Sports, Bell is currently positioned as the 21st-ranked prospect in the 2026 class, the fourth-ranked quarterback, and the fourth-ranked prospect in Florida.

Texas A&M offers 2026 4-star Edge out of Orlando (FL)

2026 4-star Edge out of Orlando Florida has received an offer from Texas A&M

For Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko, the goal this offseason is to make as much headway as possible in the 2025 and 2026 recruiting cycles while sending out offers to gain future interest under the new coaching regime.

This week, Elko and his staff have already offered several 2026 prospects, including intriguing three-star wide receiver Rico Blassingame out of Arizona. He is now taking his recruiting interest to the Southeast, fielding an offer to ascending Orlando-based pass rusher Jake Kreul.

Edge is by far one of the most important positions in the game in college and the NFL, needing to acquire as much depth and potential every year to develop the next pass-rushing star, hopefully. Standing at 6-2 and nearly 220 pounds, Kreul is already a beast in the trenches.

During his 2023 sophomore season, Kreul recorded 76 tackles, 34 tackles for loss, and 17 sacks. With his length and borderline elite athleticism, Kreul’s versatility as a tight end on offense has certainly caught the attention of every program in the country.

According to 247Sports, Kreul is currently positioned as the 56th-ranked prospect in the 2026 class, the 7th-ranked Edge, and the 11th-ranked prospect in Florida.

Texas A&M has offered 2026 4-star RB out of Fairburn (GA)

2026 4-star running back Carsyn Baker has received an offer from Texas A&M

As the summer unfolds, Texas A&M head football coach Mike Elko is fully engaged. The Aggies’ 2025 recruiting class, a pivotal element in the team’s future, is set to bolster its talent in the upcoming months. Additionally, the annual recruiting pool party, a key event in the recruitment process, is slated for late July.

While the 2025 cycle continues to make waves, it’s crucial to make strides with the 2026 recruiting class. This strategic move is essential to stay on par with every program, including the new SEC members, the Texas Longhorns, and the Oklahoma Sooners, who are set to officially join the conference in July.

This week, Elko and his staff have continued to field offers to many 2026 prospects, headlined by Monday’s offer to four-star running back Carsyn Baker out of Langston Hughes HS in Fairburn, Georgia.

Standing at 6-1 and 190 pounds, Baker is a fearless runner with elite traits and is expected to earn a larger role in the offense during his final two high school seasons. During his 2023 sophomore campaign, Baker ran for 303 yards and a score, averaging 9 yards per carry.

According to 247Sports, Baker is currently positioned as the 19th-ranked running back in the 2026 class and the 25th-ranked prospect in Georgia.
