Prediction

Georgia 58, Tennessee Tech 3

Moneyline

PASS.

No moneyline was offered and you wouldn’t bet it even if there was one, so  just look to the spread and/or total.

Against the spread

BET GEORGIA -54.5 (-110).

The Georgia Bulldogs, fresh off a dominant Week 1 performance, are primed to continue their winning ways in Week 2 against Tennessee Tech. As the top team in the country, Georgia should have no trouble controlling the game from start to finish against an overmatched Tennessee Tech squad.

With Tennessee Tech struggling at 0-10 SU in their last 10 games and 2-4 ATS in their last 6, Georgia is set to roll at home. Expect the Bulldogs to cover the spread.

Over/Under

BET UNDER 62.5 (-110).

Tennessee Tech is going to struggle to generate any offense against Georgia’s elite defense. In fact, Tennessee Tech has yet to score a point in its 2 meetings against Georgia. When the teams 1st met in 1943, the Bulldogs romped 67-0. In their only other matchup, Georgia cruised to a 38-0 victory in 2009. There’s just too much talent on the Bulldogs’ side for Tennessee Tech to keep up.

While Georgia will likely score at will, asking them to cover the entire 62.5-point total by themselves is a stretch. The Bulldogs have gone Under the total in 4 of their last 5 games, including a Week 1 matchup against Clemson. With Georgia’s defense dominating and Tennessee Tech struggling to put points on the board, the Under looks like the safer bet.
