The 2024 college football season will be the first season of the newly expanded Big Ten Conference. The league has added Oregon, UCLA, USC, and Washington to bring their total number of teams to 18.
With the addition of four West Coast schools, the conference will see a dramatic increase in the number of miles teams will travel in 2024. Recent data shows that the four new teams will have the most ground to cover.
UCLA will travel over 22,000 miles for the 2024 Big Ten football season, with an average round trip of 3,764 miles. The Bruins will also cross over 26 different time zones.
