You can never invest too much in the tight end position, and coach [autotag]Bryan Harsin[/autotag] is looking to land one of the best examples in the country.
Four-star prospect Tavion Galloway tweeted on Monday that the Tigers had offered him a scholarship. Galloway, a native of Ohio, is considered to be the seventh-best tight end in the country by and the second best overall prospect in Ohio according to 247Sports‘ composite.
Since Galloway is a 2024 recruit, his recruiting process hasn’t opened up quite yet like it is sure to next year. That being said, Auburn is already the fourth SEC team to offer Galloway, the others being Kentucky, LSU and Tennessee. The Tigers will likely have to compete with his home-state teams, however, as the Cinncinatti Bearcats (who are set to be a Power 5 team when he is set to make his decision) have also given him an offer.
There’s also the matter of whether Harsin will be the head coach of the Tigers by the time Galloway is set to commit. Should he retain his job, however, he’s sure to make a pursuit on a position that can truly open up an offense and add versatility to schemes like a great tight end can.
