Who was that masked man repping Alabama while on a beer run on the “Mean Streets of LA?”

None other than WWE legend Stone Cold Steve Austin, who made sure to cover his nose and mouth with a Crimson Tide-themed mask while heading out for some libations Wednesday.

#Rolltide. Hell, yeah!

Stone Cold Steve Austin hits stunners, chugs beers with Becky Lynch on 3/16 day

Stone Cold Steve Austin returned to WWE on Monday for a beer bash in an empty arena.

WWE legend Stone Cold Steve Austin made a highly anticipated return to the ring on Monday Night Raw, but for the first time ever, there wasn’t a massive pop from the audience when Austin’s music hit.

Due to the coronavirus, all WWE weekly shows have been taken off the road and moved to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, where they are being staged in a mock arena with no crowd. On Monday, WWE announced that the biggest wrestling event of the year, WrestleMania 36, will be moved from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa to the Performance Center, but will still occur as scheduled on April 5th.

Austin was back to celebrate 3/16 Day on March 16th, and declared that it should be recognized as a new national holiday. Austin even played to the non-existent crowd, asking the empty seats to give him a “hell yeah,” and was eventually joined in the ring by commentator Byron Saxton. Austin offered Saxton his own Broken Skull IPAs – and then delivered a stunner as Saxton was drinking.

Austin was then joined by Becky Lynch, who closed the show by pounding a few beers with the WWE legend. After Raw ended, the Street Profits joined Lynch and Austin in the ring – and were quickly stunned.

WWE Monday Night Raw will continue to broadcast their shows from their Performance Center in Orlando Florida.

WWE will continue to broadcast their shows from their Performance Center tonight when Monday Night Raw is held. They have been forced to hold their events at their training facility in Orlando Florida with no fans.

Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin will be in the building tonight to celebrate #316 Day and it will be interesting to see what the WWE has in store for the fans who will only be able to watch on television.

WWE: Monday Night Raw

  • Date: Monday, March 16, 2020
  • Time: 8 p.m. ET
  • TV Channel: USA Network
  • Live Stream: fuboTV (watch for free)

This is the first time in WWE history that their events will be held in an arena without a single fan so it will be interesting to see how this plays out. In normal circumstances, WWE uses fan interaction to help bring home the product as well as its promos for the brand. We should see some stars tonight on Monday Night Raw including Randy Orton, Edge, and of course ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin.

We recommend interesting sports viewing and streaming opportunities. If you sign up for a service by clicking one of the links, we may earn a referral fee.

Stone Cold Steve Austin is returning to WWE on Monday for 3/16 day

Stone Cold Steve Austin is coming back to Monday Night Raw.

The WWE’s biggest star of the Attitude Era will return to the ring on Monday night on March 16th to celebrate “3/16 Day.” Stone Cold Steve Austin announced on his Twitter account that he will be at Monday Night Raw, and which means we’ll hopefully get another classic promo starring Austin and WWE chairman Vince McMahon.

Austin last appeared on a WWE show in September of 2019 at Madison Square Garden, where he staged a signature beer bash and hit AJ Styles with a Stunner after the show went off the air.

With WrestleMania 36 just one month away, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Austin get involved in one of the main event feuds. Stone Cold as a guest referee at the biggest show of the year? Who says no?

Now if the Chiefs meet George Kittle and the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl, there would be a great WWE-style battle. The 49ers’ great tight end is a huge fan of sports entertainment and has developed a friendship with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
