30 days till the Cardinals’ season opener against the Bills

The last decently impactful No. 30 was running back Stepfan Taylor from 2013-2016.

The Arizona Cardinals open their preseason schedule tomorrow at home against the New Orleans Saints.

They are less than a month away from their first game of the season.

They will be on the road on September 8 to take on the Buffalo Bills in their regular-season opener, which is in 30 days.

Defensive back Darren Hall is the Cardinals’ current No. 30. He has not played a game with the Cardinals and isn’t expected to make the roster.

We have to go back a little bit to get the last reasonably impactful No. 30.

That would be running back Stepfan Taylor, who played for the Cardinals from 2013-2016.

He was a fifth-round pick out of Stanford and was a solid special teamer and backup running back. Over four seasons, he played over 800 special teams snaps.

He finished with 393 rushing yards and 20 catches for 154 yards and three touchdowns. All four of his career touchdowns came in 2014.
