The Pittsburgh Steelers are set to square off against the New York Giants on Monday night and currently sit at 5.5-point favorites on the road. Being a road favorite is somewhat unusual in the NFL but this is a pretty heavy advantage for Pittsburgh.

But where to NFL experts stand on the game? We went to the guys at NFL Pick Watch to see what the picks look like. They do a great job aggregating expert picks from all over the internet and putting them all in one place.

According to them 96 percent of the expert picks are leaning to the Steelers. It makes sense. The Steelers finished last season at 8-8 but have Ben Roethlisberger back at quarterback and should be much better. The Giants were 4-12 last season and don’t really look like they are much improved unless Daniel Jones makes a huge leap at quarterback.

Steeler Nation, do you think the Giants can pull off the upset or will the Steelers get off to a 1-0 start? Let us know in the comments.

Believe it or not, there will be NFL football at some point. Maybe. Probably. Oddsmakers are moving forward as if the season will start and we have confidence there will be some form of Pittsburgh Steelers football this season.

The Steelers open the regular season on the road against the New York Giants. Pittsburgh is 3-2 against the Giants in the 2000s and has won the last two. Their last matchup was in 2016 when Pittsburgh beat the Giants 24-14 at home.

According to the analysis over at Oddschecker, bettors are leaning into the Steelers heavily with 73 percent of the total bets compared to only 23 percent for the Giants. This is with the Steelers 3.5-point road favorites.

The Steelers are coming off an 8-8 season where they narrowly missed the playoffs despite a revolving door of mediocre play at quarterback. Meanwhile, the Giants are coming off a 4-12 season and are in a state of re-building.
