The Auburn Tigers spring football schedule revealed

We now know the spring schedule for football.

We finally have the schedule for the Auburn Tigers spring football coming up in March. It will culminate with the ‘A-Day’ spring game on Apr. 9.

Auburn is less than a month away from getting back on the field as they look to wipe away the stench of the 2021 campaign. In their first season under head coach Bryan Harsin, the Tigers finished 6-7 after a 6-2 start in their first eight games.

The five-game losing streak was a black eye on the year that saw plenty of promise. They took the Alabama Crimson Tide to the wire but ultimately fell in overtime. However, Harsin delivered the school’s first win in Baton Rouge since 1999. That was Tommy Tuberville’s first season on The Plains.

Tuberville finished 5-6 in year one and climbed to 9-4 in year two. Harsin has plenty of work to do to repeat history for the Tigers. It all begins with spring football in year two.

Graduate Assistant David Whitlow recently tweeted out the schedule for the upcoming spring season. Practice begins on Mar. 14 and will run up until the spring game.

Practice Dates:

  • Mar. 14 open date
  • Apr. 8 is the final practice

There are still openings on the coaching staff that will need to be addressed but we should get clarity on the vacancies quickly. Bryan Harsin has to replace his offensive coordinator, quarterbacks coach, special teams coordinator, and outside linebackers vacancies in the very near future.
