There is no one happier than the LSU faithful that [autotag]Kayshon Boutte[/autotag] is back for the 2022 season. Whether it is Jayden Daniels, Myles Brennan, or Garrett Nussmeier under center they will have a dynamic weapon on the outside.
Prior to the injury against the Kentucky Wildcats, Boutte was having a good season. He finished the campaign with 38 receptions for 509 yards and 9 touchdowns through six games. He proved to be better on the road than at Tiger Stadium in 2021.
Boutte was close to a 50/50 split as an outside and slot receiver. In 2022, it will likely be more on the outside with Malik Nabers spending a lot of time in the slot for Brian Kelly during fall camp.
