Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Sunday’s Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals odds and lines, with expert NFL picks, predictions and best bets.

The Seattle Seahawks (6-10) wrap up their 2021 season on the road against the Arizona Cardinals (11-5) in Week 18. Kickoff is 4:25 p.m. ET at State Farm Stadium. Below, we look at the Seahawks vs. Cardinals odds and lines, and make our best NFL picks, predictions and bets.

The Seahawks failed to qualify for the postseason for just the second time, and have a losing season for the first time, in QB Russell Wilson‘s career. It also marks the first time that they’ve lost 10 games with Pete Carroll as head coach. However, they are coming off a 51-29 home victory in Week 17 over the Detroit Lions.

The Cardinals are going to the postseason for the first time since 2015 and are in contention for the NFC West title. They snapped a three-game losing skid in Week 17 with a 25-22 win over the Dallas Cowboys.

Seahawks at Cardinals odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Cardinals 27, Seahawks 16

Money line

The Seahawks have only lost twice to the Cardinals in State Farm Stadium since Wilson’s career started. The Cardinals are 3-4 at home this season and Seattle is 3-5 away from home. Seattle has lost two of its last three games and allowed 23 to the Cardinals in Week 9 — but it could have been 30 if Matt Prater had not missed an extra point and two field goals.

The Cardinals got their offense back on track last week and are playing for a division title. While a few players are out for the Cards, Seattle will struggle to make plays without Wagner in the middle of the defense.

Take the CARDINALS (-240).

Against the spread

The Seahawks are 8-8 ATS on the season but failed to cover the spread in their game against the Cardinals in Seattle.

The Cardinals are 10-6 ATS this season. They have the defense playing well and the offense back on track.

The Cardinals have covered the spread in all but one of their victories this season.

Take the CARDINALS -5.5 (-108).

Over/Under

Four of the Seahawks’ last five games have gone Over the projected total but only one other game all year has.

The last three games for the Cardinals stayed Under the projected total and their game in Seattle went Under.

Take UNDER 47.5 (-105).

Seahawks at Cardinals: Odds, betting lines, picks and prediction

Prediction

Cardinals 27, Seahawks 24

Money line (?)

The Cardinals are playing defense at a high level but the Seahawks seem to be able to come back from any deficit. The Cardinals have not beaten the Seahawks at home since 2012, but Seattle allow over 470 yards of offense per game and the Cardinals have weapons to put up points. This is the game where the Seahawks can fall. Take the CARDINALS (+160).

Against the spread (?)

Seattle is 4-1 ATS this season and the Cardinals are 4-2 ATS. The Cardinals are 2-0 ATS as an underdog. Take the CARDINALS +3.5 (-115).

Over/Under (?)

Despite the talk of the Cardinals offense, it is the defense that has mattered most. All six of Arizona’s games have gone Under the total. Seattle is 3-2 O/U. While many expect a shootout, both team’s defenses will make it an entertaining game, but it will fall short of the total. Take UNDER 55.5 (-110).
