Seattle Seahawks road favorites at San Francisco 49ers in Week 17

The Seattle Seahawks are the betting favorites in their Week 17 road game at the San Francisco 49ers.

The Seattle Seahawks (11-4) visit the San Francisco 49ers (6-9) Sunday in Week 17 at 4:25 p.m. ET. The game will be played at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., where the 49ers have been playing their recent home games because of COVID-19 restrictions in Santa Clara, Calif. Below, we take a look at the early Seahawks-49ers betting odds and lines at BetMGM Sportsbook.

Seattle clinched the NFC West title with a 20-9 victory over the visiting Los Angeles Rams Sunday. QB Russell Wilson passed for 225 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions, and added a rushing touchdown as well. The Seahawks, who won the division for the first time since 2016, have an outside shot at claiming the NFC’s No. 1 seed. To do so, they’ll need to beat the 49ers, the Green Bay Packers (12-3) to lose at the Chicago Bears, and the New Orleans Saints (11-4) to either lose or tie in their game at the Carolina Panthers.

The 49ers are coming off an upset win, a 20-12 victory at the Arizona Cardinals in Week 16. RB Jeff Wilson rushed for a career-high 183 yards and added a 21-yard touchdown catch, while third-string QB C.J. Beathard threw three touchdown passes in his first start since 2018. The 49ers defense held Cardinals QB Kyler Murray without a passing touchdown or rushing touchdown. San Francisco was a 6-point underdog.

San Francisco 49ers ‘home’ favorites vs. Washington Football Team in Week 14

The San Francisco 49ers are the betting favorites in their Week 14 designated home game against the Washington Football Team.

The Washington Football Team (5-7) and the San Francisco 49ers (5-7) will meet Sunday of Week 14 for a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff at State Farm Stadium (home of the Arizona Cardinals) in Glendale, Ariz. San Francisco will be the designated home team as the game had to be moved from the 49ers’ regular home of Levi’s Stadium due to Santa Clara County, Calif., COVID-19 protocol rules. Here’s a look at the early Washington-49ers betting odds and lines at BetMGM Sportsbook.

Washington handed the Pittsburgh Steelers (11-1) their first loss of the season in a surprising 23-17 upset Monday of Week 13. Washington, which was a 6-point road underdog with a +210 money line, rallied from 14-3 halftime deficit to notch its third win in a row. QB Alex Smith (31 of 46) finished with 296 passing yards and a touchdown, and PK Dustin Hopkins kicked 2 of his 3 field goals in the final 2:07. Washington remained tied atop the woeful NFC East with the New York Giants despite a 5-7 record. Keep an eye on the health status of Washington’s leading rusher RB Antonio Gibson, who exited in the first half due to a toe injury.

The 49ers lost as 1.5-point favorites to the Buffalo Bills 34-24 in Week 13’s Monday Night Football game, which was played in Arizona. San Francisco found the end zone first – QB Nick Mullens‘ 2-yard TD pass to rookie WR Brandon Aiyuk – for a 7-0 first-quarter lead, but Buffalo scored 17 unanswered, second-quarter points for a 17-7 halftime advantage. The Bills increased the lead to 27-10 late in the third and it was all but over. Mullens (26 of 39) finished with 316 passing yards, 3 touchdowns and 2 picks as San Francisco suffered its fourth loss in the last five games.

The 49ers, who are on a three-game losing streak, are coming off a bye. After back-to-back wins vs. the Rams and New England Patriots, San Francisco was 4-3 before its current skid, but then the 49ers were hit by the injury bug. The most recent setback was a 27-13 loss at the New Orleans Saints in Week 10. QB Nick Mullens started the last two games with QB Jimmy Garoppolo out due to an ankle injury. Mullens has thrown for 1,390 yards with 6 touchdowns vs. 6 interceptions this season.

The Rams won 27-24 at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night Football in Week 11. QB Jared Goff threw for 376 yards and 3 TDs with 2 interceptions, and S Jordan Fuller intercepted Tom Brady twice as the Rams prevailed as 4-point underdogs. After the Bucs tied it at 24-all with 3:53 to go, Goff engineered a 53-yard drive to set up PK Matt Gay‘s second field goal, a 40-yarder with 2:36 remaining for the eventual winner. Fuller’s second interception on Brady’s deep pass from the Bucs’ 38-yard line sealed the victory. WR Cooper Kupp finished with 145 receiving yards on 11 catches, while WR Robert Woods added 130 receiving yards with 1 touchdown on 12 catches.

New Orleans Saints big favorites at home vs. San Francisco 49ers in Week 10

The New Orleans Saints are the betting favorites in their Week 10 home game with the San Francisco 49ers.

The San Francisco 49ers (4-5) visit the New Orleans Saints (6-2) in Week 10. Kickoff is Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET. Here’s a look at the early betting odds and lines at BetMGM Sportsbook.

The undermanned 49ers lost 34-17 at home to the Green Bay Packers in the Week 9 Thursday Night Football game as 6-point underdogs. With numerous injuries and WR Kendrick Bourne‘s positive COVID-19 test, which also sidelined three other 49ers for high-risk contacts, San Francisco was no match for Green Bay.

Among the injured who sat were QB Jimmy Garoppolo (ankle), All-Pro TE George Kittle (foot), RB Raheem Mostert (ankle), WRs Deebo Samuel (hamstring) and Brandon Aiyuk (COVID contact), DE Nick Bosa (knee) and CB Richard Sherman (calf).

QB Nick Mullens started in place of Garoppolo, throwing for 291 yards with a touchdown and one pick. Bourne has since tested negative and there’s hope several of the players out due to contact tracing will be back for Week 10.

The Saints went into Tampa, Fla., and manhandled the Buccaneers 38-3 in the Week 9 Sunday Night Football game as 3.5-point underdogs. QB Drew Brees threw for 222 yards and 4 touchdowns as New Orleans won a fifth consecutive game, took over first place in the NFC South and completed a season sweep of rival Tampa Bay.

Brees’ first 3 TDs, RB Alvin Kamara‘s 1-yard TD run and a Wil Lutz FG helped the Saints build a 31-0 lead by halftime. The Saints defense held the Bucs to just 8 rushing yards (on 5 carries) and didn’t allow them to score until there was 5:52 to go. It was also the first Under game the Saints played in 2020 – they entered with a 7-0 Over/Under record.

New to NFL betting?

At +330 odds, the 49ers have an implied win probability of 23.26% or 33/10 fractional odds. To cover the spread, San Francisco must win outright or stay within 9 points in a loss for a 49ers +9.5 ATS ticket to cash.

Place your legal, online NFL bets in CO, IN, NJ, TN and WV at BetMGM. Risk-free first bet! Terms and conditions apply. Bet now!
