Following the regular season, Tennessee redshirt freshman quarterback Ryan Damron announced he intends to enter the NCAA transfer portal.
“I will be entering my name into the transfer portal with three years left of eligibility,” Damron announced. “Thank you to the University of Tennessee for allowing me the opportunity to fulfill my childhood dreams!”
Damron appeared in one contest for the Vols during the 2024 regular season. He did not record any statistics against Kent State on Sept. 14 at Neyland Stadium.
The 6-foot, 205-pound quarterback did not appear in any games and earned a redshirt in 2023.
