The Steelers signed linebacker Jayrone Elliott and long snapper Liam McCullough on Thursday.
The Steelers are familiar with the Elliott, as they signed and re-signed him eight times in 2019. The outside linebacker appeared in five games and recorded four tackles. Elliott, 28, has been around the league since he signed as an undrafted rookie with the Packers in 2014.
McCullough is an undrafted rookie hailing from Ohio State. He played in 54 of 55 games from 2016 to 2019 for the Buckeyes and was a finalist for the Patrick Mannelly Award in 2019, which goes to the country’s top long snapper.
In corresponding roster moves, the team released linebacker Leo Lewis and waived/injured wide receiver Anthony Johnson.
