Rocket Mortgage Super Bowl Squares Sweepstakes is back with millions of dollars in prizes!

After giving out a total of $1.75 million to 17 lucky winners during last year’s Rocket Mortgage Super Bowl Squares Sweepstakes, America’s largest mortgage lender is bringing the contest back for its second iteration and is looking to make it bigger and better on the back of the NFL’s highest-scoring season.

Tune in for Super Bowl LV (February 7, 2021, on CBS), where Super Bowl Squares participants will have a shot at winning $50,000 after every scoring play—touchdowns, field goals, extra points, even safeties.

And that’s not all. There will also be two grand prize drawings of $500,000—one at halftime and one following the game—that can be used toward your dream home.

Here’s how to play

Those ages 18 and older are encouraged to sign up between January 7, 2021, and February 4, 2021, at RocketMortgageSquares.com. Registration is simple, and the best part, it’s free to enter!

A completed entry form will give the entrant one (1) square.

Want even more chances to win? That’s just as easy as the registration. Simply share your unique link with friends, and every time someone uses it to sign up, you’ll get to pick a bonus square (up to 10 total).

Once you’re all set up, come back to RocketMortgageSquares.com after registration closes on Feb. 4 to see the teams and random numbers assigned to the squares.

Note: All square selections are final once submitted through the site. If Super Bowl LV is delayed, registration for the Rocket Mortgage Super Bowl Squares Sweepstakes will remain open past the 4th, and the window will be updated, accordingly. 

Entrants can access the final grid online or download/print a PDF to have for reference during Super Bowl LV—where the real fun begins!

During Super Bowl LV

After every scoring play—touchdowns, extra points, field goals, safeties, all of them—Rocket Mortgage will draw one lucky winner from the corresponding square to win $50,000.

Only one winner per score change and multiple people can have the same square, so remember—it helps to have bonus squares (share the game with your friends and increase your chances!).

Besides the opportunity to win $50,000, there are also two grand prize giveaways of $500,000 that can be used toward your dream home. All squares participants are automatically entered in the two random drawings—one at halftime and one after the game.

Like the squares selections, entrants can win only one grand prize.

The winners of the score-identifying squares and grand prizes will be announced live on Super Bowl Sunday via Rocket Mortgage’s Twitter and Facebook feeds, as well as the Rocket Mortgage Super Bowl Squares Sweepstakes website.

Rocket Mortgage will have a busy Super Bowl Sunday. Not only will the Detroit-based lending company partner with the NFL for the largest Super Bowl Squares contest ever—with millions in prizes!—but the company will also feature the new campaign “Get Comfortable” in an ad starring Jason Momoa.

Quicken Loans CMO, Casey Hurbis, gave some insight into how the concept came together.

“We started looking at different ideas over the summer, and one particular concept quickly rose to the top,” he told USA Today’s Ad Meter.

And with that concept, there was one person who came to mind—the Aquaman himself!

“It was with Jason—this whole concept of ‘getting comfortable at home.’ And when he saw the idea, the feedback we got was ‘oh my god, I’ve got to do this!'”

The perfect match—the largest mortgage lender in America and one of the largest stars in Hollywood, coming together on the biggest stage.

Momoa, who jumped at the opportunity to collaborate creatively, is excited for the world to see the spot:

“People are going to be blown away by the Super Bowl commercial. The creative was awesome, and we all worked together to make it hysterical. I got to poke fun at myself a bit, as did my wife, and we had a blast. The spot made us laugh, and it’s going to make America laugh too. I can’t wait to hear what everyone thinks.”

It’s a mutual feeling for Casey Hurbis, who added:

“Having the power of Jason and (Quicken Loan’s) brands together, just knowing the high level of content we did, we knew that having him doing his first commercial ever, we’d be able to build a lot of momentum around that,” said Hurbis. “And we’re excited to bring not only the spot in the Super Bowl, but the campaign to life.”

Playing Rocket Mortgage Super Bowl Squares

  1. Complete Registration form.
  2. Pick your square within the empty 10 by 10 grid.
  3. Share with friends to join in on the fun! For each friend that signs up using your personalized link, you’ll earn 1 bonus square. You can earn up to 10 bonus squares.
  4. After the entry period ends on January 30, numbers (0-9) will be randomly assigned to each column and row as well as one team to the columns and one to the rows.
  5. Once numbers and teams have been randomly assigned, print out a copy of the final grid to have handy during Super Bowl LIV.
  6. Winners will be determined every time there’s a score change (by either a touchdown, an extra point, a 2-point conversion, a field goal, or a safety).
  7. The last digit of each team’s score will identify the winning square. Then, a random drawing will identify one winner from within that square to receive the $50,000 prize.

Note: Multiple people can claim a square. Entrants can’t change their square once selected, and will only be allowed to win once during a score change and once for the $500K prize.
