The Oklahoma City Thunder announced a pair of corresponding roster moves on Friday.
The Thunder announced they waived Robert Woodard II after appearing in the last two preseason games and signed Jahmi’us Ramsey to take his spot on the preseason roster.
Ramsey was drafted by the Sacramento Kings with the 43rd pick of the 2020 NBA draft.
Ramsey averaged 18.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 15 G League games last season that included a stint with the OKC Blue.
Much like the signing and waiving of Sacha Killeya-Jones, this is likely to gain the G League rights for Ramsey to add him onto the Blue roster when their season kicks off in November.
