The Seattle Seahawks have now become one of the growing number of teams in the National Football League to offer season ticket holders the option to pause their membership for 2020 and receive a refund in light of the coronavirus outbreak that continues to spread across the nation.
The team sent an email to season ticket holders Thursday morning outlining the two choices fans can make ahead of the start of the season.
“In light of today’s uncertainty, we would like to offer Season Ticket Holders the option to pause season ticket membership and either request a refund for the 2020 season or keep credit on account for 2021 renewal,” the email read. “Please let us know your preference by completing the form below.” The email then gives the ticket holders two options.

Season ticket holders can either “pause” their ticket membership on a one-year deferral and receive a refund or credit for next year, or “wait and see” until further details and government mandates are announced.
As of this post, the Seahawks have yet to update their website with this information, so please be sure and check your email or contact your season ticket representative for further information.
