The Michigan State hockey team suffered a major blow this week as it was announced that team captain and star forward Red Savage will miss the rest of the season with an upper body injury.
Savage, who has 11 points on the year, missed the last three games with the injury as he explored his options. Savage was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the fourth round of the 2021 NHL Draft.
