Cam Bynum’s accurate Raygun tribute celebration won the week in the NFL

What a tribute.

Raygun may be mostly retiring from breakdancing competitions after she became a meme in the Paris Olympics, but she won’t soon be forgotten.

Minnesota Vikings safety Cam Bynum decided that Sunday would be a good time to pay tribute after an interception, so he did a lot of Raygun’s routine on the field in the win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, and fans absolutely loved it.

Rightfully so! He didn’t just do, like, one of her moves. He did a bunch! Seems like he practiced.

Check this video out and see if you agree that it’s a pretty darn good routine:

Australian MMA fighter Casey O’Neill did a Raygun celebration after a win at UFC 305

This is for sure a Raygun tribute.

Although Raygun the Australian Olympic breaker has gotten too much criticism and has been mocked for her performance in Paris, this one feels more like a tribute.

MMA fighter Casey O’Neill is from Australia, and after she won in a bout over Luana Santos at Saturday’s UFC 305, O’Neill delivered the perfect celebration: a very clear tribute to Raygun, with her doing the famous rolling back-and-forth on the ground and a little kangaroo hop. Yep, that’s for sure The Raygun.

This is so, so good and delightful, and I hope Raygun sees it and smiles. Here’s a look at that moment:

Raygun the Australian breakdancer delivers heartbreaking Instagram statement over ‘devastating’ hate she received

It’s time to stop the hate.

Raygun — Dr. Rachel Gunn — gave us so much at the 2024 Paris Olympics in breaking, including some jokes and memes about her performance, and we loved seeing the hero’s welcome she got from her fellow Australian athletes.

But she’s also received a ton of hate, from the criticism to questions about her qualifications for the Olympics, with the Australian Olympic Committee needing to step in and defend a petition about Gunn that was full of “falsehoods” and “amounts to bullying and harassment, per chief exec Matt Carroll.

Gunn herself stepped in on Instagram to speak to the world, and she thanked people for support, but also said that the hate has been “devastating” and she asked the press to stop harassing family, friends and others.

Raygun is everywhere.

Raygun continues to be the Australian breakdancer we loved from the 2024 Paris Olympics, despite the fact that the memes of her performance in breaking are still rolling in.

This time, we got a parody from the great Rachel Dratch on The Tonight Show, who played the Aussie Olympic star, but she doesn’t say a word to Jimmy Fallon, who asked a few questions to her before the pair of them started doing Raygun’s patented dance moves. You had to see this coming now that the Olympics are over.

Take a look and see the quick cameo from Dratch, who definitely nailed some of the moves:

Raygun the Australian breakdancer got an Olympic hero’s welcome and delivered an even better routine

Raygun continues to be the best.

Oh, Raygun.

We all loved the Australian B-girl breaker who is a 36-year-old lecturer at Macquarie University in Sydney — that’s Dr. Rachel Gunn, to you. Even though the Raygun memes of her performance at breaking in Paris are still coming in fast and furious, her return from the Olympics looked like the hero’s welcome she deserved.

Per a TikTok from Australia rower Jean Mitchell, Raygun got cheers as she broke it down one more time … and honestly, her dance there might have been better than the one we saw her do in Paris!

Check this out. And long live Raygun. You are the best:
