It’s fair to say that Baltimore Ravens fans are very excited about the upcoming season. Wednesday morning, at 11 am EST, the team opened up free parking passes for the 20 open training camp practices.
Bu 11:09, all of them were spoken for. “All Training Camp tickets have been claimed,” the club’s official Twitter/X account posted.
Wow! Selling out every ticket in just nine minutes- that is Bruce Springsteen back in the 1980s level demand. Of course, these tickets/passes didn’t “sell out” as they’re free, as is attending training camp itself, but the message is clear nonetheless.
The Under Armour Performance Center in Owings Mills, where the club will be holding camp, can only accommodate about 1,000 fans per day. So competition for space is fierce, and only those Ravens supporters with midday availability, great internet access and fast fingers were able to get in.
However, all is not lost if you’re still trying to get a free parking pass. The team’s official release on this topic includes this notification:
Fans who are unable to claim passes on July 10 will have the option of joining a waitlist to attend an open Training Camp practice. If/when passes become available, waitlisted fans will be notified via email.
