Watch highlights from Rams’ comeback win over 49ers in Week 15

Check out highlights from the Rams’ field goal-filled win over the 49ers in Week 15

For the second time this season, the Los Angeles Rams needed a comeback in order to beat the San Francisco 49ers. On Thursday night, their largest deficit was only three points, but they were trailing in the fourth quarter before scoring the final nine points of the game to win, 12-6.

Though there were no touchdowns and only 25 first downs, it was still a close game in the end that could’ve gone either way. Puka Nacua made a huge play with a 51-yard catch, Kyren Williams rushed for over 100 yards yet again and Darious Williams pulled in a terrific interception in the end zone to take points off the board for San Francisco.

There’s no question the rain and wet conditions played a factor in what was the first NFL game of 2024 without a touchdown, but it made for a hard-fought game between two division rivals.

Watch: Puka Nacua makes ridiculous catch using a defender’s helmet

Puka Nacua made his weekly highlight-reel catch, this time using a 49ers defender’s helmet to haul it in

It wouldn’t be a Rams game without a ridiculously good catch by Puka Nacua. It’s a weekly occurrence for the second-year receiver, who’s already become one of the best players in the NFL regardless of position.

On Thursday night against the San Francisco 49ers, Nacua made an absurd grab in the first quarter where he pinned the ball to the back of a defender’s helmet as he went to the ground.

It’s a miracle that ball didn’t get jarred loose as they were going down, but Nacua has incredibly strong hands and wouldn’t let it out of his grasp.

This shot of the catch is awesome, showing just how difficult it was for him to make.

Watch: Cooper Kupp’s knee helped him make this spectacular TD catch

Who needs two hands when you have one knee?

Cooper Kupp apparently saw the ridiculous toe-tapping catch Puka Nacua made earlier in the game and wanted to one-up him. It’s hard to say Kupp’s third-quarter touchdown catch was better than Nacua’s, but Kupp’s did go for a touchdown.

With the Rams already leading 31-21, Kupp made a fantastic catch in the end zone to pad Los Angeles’ lead. It may not have seemed like a highlight-reel grab on first look, but he used his knee to bring the ball in to his body – because who needs two hands when you have one knee?

Take a look at Kupp’s touchdown grab.

Watch: Puka Nacua made a ridiculous toe-tapping catch that Tom Brady called ‘insane’

Puka Nacua just made one of the best toe-tapping sideline catches you’ll ever see

When it seems like Puka Nacua can’t possibly get better than he already is, he makes a play like this one. The second-year receiver is already one of the best overall players in the NFL and the catch he made along the sideline against the Bills was one of the best you’ll see.

It came in the second quarter on second-and-10, somehow hauling in the deep ball for 19 yards near the sideline. It seemed impossible that he’d be able to get his feet down inbounds, but he managed to get it done and secure the catch.

Tom Brady, who’s on the call for FOX, couldn’t believe Nacua hauled it in.

“Oh my god! Insane. That’s ridiculous,” Brady said.

This angle is even better.

Yeah, that dude is good.

Nacua capped off the drive with a touchdown, rushing it in from 4 yards out on a jet sweep to put the Rams up 24-14.

Watch: Kyren Williams caps off perfect opening drive vs. Bills with 13th TD of season

It was a picture perfect opening drive for the Rams, grabbing an early lead over the Bills

The Los Angeles Rams have been terrible in three areas this season: first-quarter scoring, third down and red zone. On Sunday’s opening drive against the Buffalo Bills, they were perfect in all three spots.

They went 3-for-3 on third down and scored a touchdown on their first drive, going 70 yards in 12 plays and capping it off with a Kyren Williams 3-yard score. It was Williams’ 13th touchdown of the season, giving the Rams an early 7-0 lead over the Bills.

Williams powered the drive with seven carries for 27 yards and the touchdown, picking up where he left off after last week’s win over the Saints.

Watch highlights from Rams’ 28-22 win over Patriots

Check out all of the best plays from the Rams’ 28-22 win over the Patriots, including four touchdown passes by Matthew Stafford

A week after scoring zero touchdowns, the Los Angeles Rams found the end zone a bunch on Sunday in Foxborough. Matthew Stafford led the way with four touchdown passes in the Rams’ 28-22 win over the New England Patriots, a much-needed bounce-back win for Sean McVay’s team after falling flat at home against the Miami Dolphins.

In addition to the 28 points scored by LA, the offense set a new season-high with 402 total yards, outgaining the Patriots by 20 yards. Their 2-for-8 mark on third down wasn’t great, but a 69-yard touchdown by Cooper Kupp and big plays by Puka Nacua throughout the afternoon more than made up for it.

Defensively, the Rams forced two more turnovers: a strip-sack by Braden Fiske and a game-sealing interception by Kamren Kinchens on the Patriots’ final drive. There are things to clean up, but Los Angeles showed life on offense again, which is what’s important.

Below are the highlights from the Rams’ six-point win on the road Sunday.

Watch: Puka Nacua makes spectacular diving catch for 1st TD of season

Puka Nacua has his first touchdown of 2024 and it’s a spectacular one.

Puka Nacua has finally gotten back into the end zone for the Rams this season. In his fourth game of the year, Nacua scored his first touchdown of 2024.

It came on a spectacular diving catch in the end zone, a 12-yard score against the Patriots on Sunday. He went full extension near the edge of the end zone and stayed inbounds, a terrific grab by the second-year receiver.

Nacua was shaken up on the play and was checked out by trainers after he was unable to make his way back to the sideline initially, receiving attention in the end zone.

It wasn’t Matthew Stafford’s most accurate throw of the year, but Nacua made up for it by somehow hauling it in for six points.

Watch 16 minutes of highlights from the Rams’ unbelievable win vs. Seahawks

If you missed Sunday’s back-and-forth game between the Rams and Seahawks, these highlights will catch you up on the madness

There was nothing ordinary about Sunday’s game between the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks. The two teams combined for 790 total yards, but they also botched three snaps, committed 20 penalties, turned it over four times, had a blocked punt and even Puka Nacua was ejected for throwing a punch.

It was a back-and-forth game all afternoon as it seemed like neither team wanted to win, going all the way to overtime after the Seahawks tied it with 51 seconds left on a 14-yard touchdown catch by Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

Seattle got the ball first in OT and reached the Rams’ 16-yard line, but a massive stand by the defense helped get the ball back by stuffing Kenneth Walker on back-to-back plays to force the turnover on downs.

Four plays later, Matthew Stafford hit Demarcus Robinson for a 39-yard touchdown and the walk-off win.

If you missed any of this chaos, the highlight package below will catch you up with all of the best plays – including Kam Kinchens’ franchise-record 103-yard pick-six in the fourth quarter to give the Rams a 20-13 lead.

Watch: Matthew Stafford dodges two tacklers, hits Cooper Kupp for spectacular TD

Matthew Stafford made two defenders miss and turned a would-be sack into Cooper Kupp’s 2nd touchdown of the year

It sure is good to see Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp back on the field together again. The two are playing their first game together since Week 2 and they picked up right where they left off.

On the Rams’ second drive of the game, Stafford and Kupp connected for their second touchdown of the season – and it was prettier than a lot of the ones they’ve scored during their three-plus years together.

Stafford dodged two Vikings defenders and avoided a would-be sack, ducking under one tackle to break free in the backfield. He then looked up and saw a wide-open Kupp in the back of the end zone for a touchdown, tying the game at 14.

This angle really shows the traffic Stafford fought through, looking like a spry 23-year-old in the backfield and not a 36-year-old veteran.

Watch the last 3 minutes of the Rams’ wild comeback in their entirety

If you missed the last 3 minutes of Sunday’s game, you’ll want to see how the Rams came back to beat the 49ers

There was very little drama last week in the Rams’ 41-10 loss to the Cardinals, but Sunday’s game against the 49ers was full of excitement – particularly in the second half. The last 3 minutes were absolutely wild, with the Rams erasing a seven-point deficit to win by three points in regulation, 27-24.

The 49ers had a great chance to put the game away late in the fourth quarter when they were leading 24-17, but Jake Moody missed a 55-yard field goal, which would’ve made it a two-score game with only 2:48 left to play.

Matthew Stafford made San Francisco pay by hitting Tutu Atwell for a 50-yard gain to set up Kyren Williams’ third touchdown, which tied the game. Then on the ensuing drive, the defense stopped the 49ers after five plays and got the ball back for the offense with a chance to win the game.

If you missed the last 3 minutes, you’ll want to rewatch them in the video below. Just how crazy were they? The highlight package is 17-minutes long, showing just how dramatic the finish was.
