The Mukwonago, Wis., native was named the 2022 Max Preps Wisconsin High School Football Player of the Year following his outstanding senior season for Mukwonago High School. He rushed for over 2,763 yards and 42 touchdowns this past year, averaging 8.4 yards per carry.

Stang is the 15th-ranked player in the class of 2023 in Wisconsin and the 200th-ranked running back in the country by 247Sports. He also holds a PWO offer from Purdue.

It is excellent to see head coach Luke Fickell and the coaching staff making an early effort to keep in-state talent home with this walk-on offer for one of the best players in Wisconsin High School Football last season.

Lahm attended the Badgers’ specialist camp in late June, and it looks like the Kaukauna, Wisconsin, native turned heads in his time in Madison. He has played the last few seasons for Kaukauna High School and even kicked a 50-yard field goal in a game last year.

The in-state kicker is one of the first special teams offers for the Badgers in the class of 2022.
