The Boilermakers have scored more than 90 points in each of their last two games, including a 96-88 double-overtime triumph over Illinois last time out Monday. Purdue went 8-for-18 (44.4%) from beyond the arc in that game and is shooting 40.0% from distance over its last five games.
Indiana is 11-0 at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall and has won eight in a row against the spread (ATS) there. The Hoosiers lead the Big Ten in defense with just 62.7 points allowed per game. In keeping scores low, IU relies not so much on creating turnovers but on contesting 2s and 3s and controlling the defensive glass.

Money line
This will be a tough test for Indiana, which hasn’t played as high a quality schedule as Purdue. However, the Hoosiers can perhaps bang around in the paint against the Boilermakers and that gives them a shot in their barn.
IU is a more veteran group and one that plays near-elite defense. It gets to the line and has played a couple of its best offensive games of late.

IU has won four in a row ATS against teams with winning road records, and the home team is 5-2-1 ATS in the last eight series meetings.
