Alabama lands in top-seven for 2024 4-Star QB Prentiss ‘Air’ Noland

2024 quarterback Prentiss “Air” Noland released his top seven schools on Saturday. He listed Alabama as a finalist in his recruitment.

Four-star quarterback Prentiss “Air” Noland of the 2024 recruiting class released his top-seven schools on Saturday. He also announced that he would be announcing his commitment on April 8.

Noland has taken two unofficial visits to Tuscaloosa. His most recent trip resulted in an official offer from the Alabama coaching staff.

Alabama has a commitment at quarterback from 2024 five-star Julian Sayin. If the Tide decide to sign two quarterbacks, the other would likely be Noland. Well, that appears to be the case at this point in time.

Noland has already proven that he can compete at a high level in the high school ranks. He led Langston Hughes High School to a Class 6A Title in Georgia last season. Noland has also been the program’s starter for the past three years.

Throughout his high school career, he has thrown for 8,024 yards and 104 touchdowns. Not to mention, he also runs track for the school.

His dual-threat capabilities could bode well in an offense that could see junior Jalen Milroe take over at the quarterback position this season. Regardless, Noland would be a huge addition to Alabama’s recruiting class.

Tide offer 2024 QB Prentiss “Air” Noland from Georgia

Prentiss Noland has been projected to land at Auburn by several recruiting circuits. That did not stop Alabama from offering the Georgia native following his junior day visit with the Tide.

Alabama already has 2024 quarterback Julian Sayin locked in with the Crimson Tide. It appears that the coaching staff could be looking to add another quarterback to the 2024 recruiting class. After a junior day visit, the coaching staff offered quarterback Prentiss “Air” Noland.

Noland is an extremely talented left-handed quarterback. Last season, he threw for 4,095 passing yards, 55 touchdowns, and only four interceptions. That is remarkable when considering that he did that at Class 6A in Georgia. In three seasons at Langston Hughes, Noland has passed for over 8,000 yards and 104 touchdowns.

If the stats indicate anything, it is that Noland plays at an elite level. His measurables are also eye-popping. He stands at 6-foot-3, 195 pounds. That is a relatively good size for a quarterback looking to play for a Power-Five program like Alabama.

At this time, Noland is favored to land at Auburn. On3’s RPM gives the Tigers a 91.9% chance to earn Noland’s commitment. Then again, these predictions were placed before the Crimson Tide offered the Georgia native. Things can change for Noland. He has yet to announce his top schools or when he plans on making a decision.

Alabama will likely push to add him with hopes of signing two quarterbacks as a part of the 2024 recruiting class.

Auburn listed as favorite to land 2024 four-star QB

Auburn has received plenty of visits from four-star Georgia QB, Air Noland, and have become the favorites to land him.

A successful 2024 recruiting cycle seems to be playing into the hands of the Auburn Tigers.

Auburn has recently received two Crystal Ball predictions from 247sports to land talented athletes on both sides of the ball, a four-star EDGE from Mobile, Sterling Dixon, and most recently a four-star quarterback from metro Atlanta, [autotag]Prentiss Noland[/autotag].

Two of the major recruiting sites, 247sports and On3, have released predictions that Noland will commit to Auburn. Auburn has been given a 97.3% chance to land Noland according to On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine. Christian Clemente of Auburn Undercover also gave Auburn a Crystal Ball in Noland’s favor.

According to Keith Niebuhr of Auburn Live, the schools recruiting Noland the hardest have been Auburn, Miami, and West Virginia. Noland has taken advantage of the 90-mile distance between Auburn and his hometown of Fairburn, Georgia by visiting Auburn a total of six times, and has plans to visit the Plains yet again for Big Cat Weekend later this month, which is possibly when Auburn could receive Noland’s commitment Niebuhr says.

“I’ve definitely been thinking about committing soon. Either before the season, mid-season or right after it,” Noland said in an interview with Auburn Live. “I want to start recruiting for the school I’m going to. Getting the team loaded basically. And also, I feel like I’m getting very comfortable with the schools I’m considering.”

Noland, who goes by his nickname of “Air”, is a four-star rated quarterback from Langston Hughes High School in Fairburn, Georgia. He is currently ranked as the No. 10 quarterback in the nation for the 2024 cycle according to On3’s consensus rankings and is the No. 17 overall prospect from the Peach State.
