The Trail Blazers covered as 18.5-point road underdogs in a 119-109 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies Tuesday. Portland has lost 8 of its last 10 games.
The Spurs lost 115-94 to the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday and failed to cover as 19-point road underdogs. San Antonio has also lost 8 of its last 10 games and it has the 3rd worst record in the NBA.

Trail Blazers at Spurs picks and predictions
Prediction
Trail Blazers 119, Spurs 115
Moneyline
I’m not confident in either of these teams securing the win, but I’ll take the TRAIL BLAZERS (+150) as they provide solid value. Both teams are trying to improve their draft position by resting starters, however, the Spurs are in a better position for the Victor Wembanyama sweepstakes.
Against the spread
TRAIL BLAZERS +4.5 (-110) is a good insurance pick in this contest considering that I took Portland to win outright. Plenty of players are expected to be out for both teams, but Portland has the slightly better lineup assuming that Johnson is out for San Antonio.
Over/Under
OVER 227.5 (-115) is the lean in this matchup as neither of these teams plays much defense. The Spurs have the worst defensive rating and the Trail Blazers have the 4th worst defensive rating in the NBA this season.
The Over is 3-1-1 in the last 5 meetings overall between these teams and 9-3 in the last 12 meetings in San Antonio.
