Timberwolves at Trail Blazers: Odds, betting lines, predictions and picks
Prediction
Trail Blazers 122, Timberwolves 115
Money line (ML)
Minnesota has lost five games in a row since opening the season 2-0. They are 1-3 on the road and struggle without Towns. Portland has lost two in a row to drop under .500 and were favored in both of those games. However, despite being 1-2 at home in the Moda Center, they will get back on track against a Timberwolves team that is scuffling. Take the TRAIL BLAZERS -550.
Against the spread (ATS)
Portland has one of the worst records in the league, going 2-5 ATS so far. Minnesota is one game better at 3-4 ATS and covered in their most recent loss to the Denver Nuggets. Portland has only covered the spread in one of the four games this season in which they have been the favorites. Take the TIMBERWOLVES +10.5.
Over/Under (O/U)
The Trail Blazers are eighth in the league in scoring at 114.6 points per game. Minnesota is among the worst, putting up 107.6. Both teams are 3-4 O/U this season. The Wolves’ last three games’ have gone Over. Portland’s games have alternated all season and is coming off a game that went Under. Take OVER 232.5 POINTS (-110).
