Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: Rillaboom raid possible movesets and counters

Rillaboom is the next 7-star raid in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, so here are our picks for the best counters.

Continuing down the line of starter Pokémon, Rillaboom is our next 7-star raid target in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. It’s a heavy hitter and has a stranger tera-type that makes building a team member to take it down a little difficult, but now we have access to the vast expanse of Pokémon Home, there are some more options on the table.

We’re here to rundown a possible Rillaboom moveset and potential counters you can use.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Inteleon raid: Possible movesets and counters

Inteleon is the next Pokémon Scarlet & Violet 7-star raid boss, so we’ve put together some potential counters you can use.

While Walking Wake and Iron Leaves are returning to Tera Raids at the start of next week, this weekend we’ll have another 7-star raid event to keep us busy. Dipping once again into the bag of starter Pokémon from past generations, we have Inteleon coming at us this weekend. While it isn’t the toughest-looking Pokémon, the right moveset could make Inteleon a force to be reckoned with.

We’ve put together our best estimates for Inteleon’s moveset and have prepared some counters for different scenarios.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet 1.3.0 patch notes

Walking Wake and Iron Leaves are returning to Pokémon Scarlet & Violet raid battles and a patch is coming with them.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have received another update ahead of Walking Wake and Iron Leaves returning to Tera Raid battles very soon. This game has seen no shortage of issues since its launch, but recently many players were upset as the egg raid glitch prevented them from catching these two new Pokémon.

This glitch would leave players with an egg that could never be hatched, and the nature of the raid prevented them from attempting to catch the new Paradox Pokémon again. This patch, among other things, helps these players out. While the egg won’t be removed from players’ boxes, they will be able to catch another Walking Wake or Iron Leaves in this event without issue.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet 7-star Typhlosion raid: possible movesets and counters

The Typhlosion raid is one of the strangest yet, but we’ll tell you what Pokémon will bring down this 7-star Tera-Raid.

Typhlosion is the latest starter Pokémon to get the 7-star raid treatment. This time it’s using the Ghost Tera-type, likely as a reference to its Hisuian form, which is still currently unavailable in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. It will take the stage from April 13 to April 16, and April 20 to April 23, so we’ve put together a prediction for Typhlosion’s moveset, and possible Pokémon you can prepare as counters for the event.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Samurott 7-Star raid: Possible movesets and counters

The Samurott 7-star Tera Raid event runs from March 31 to April 2 and April 7 to April 9. We’ll get you ready with some counters.

As the pattern has previously been established, Starter Pokémon are taking the feature spots in these 7-star Tera Raid events. After Decidueye’s event wrapped up last weekend, Samurott is on its way, running from March 31 to April 2 and then April 7 to April 9. Samurott is stepping a little outside of its comfort zone for this one, running with Bug as its Tera-type, so there are a lot of possibilities.

We’ll run you through some potential movesets Samurott can run, and pitch some counters so you can prepare for the event.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: Walking Wake and Iron Leaves revealed, available in raids today

Alongside the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC, two new Paradox Pokémon have been revealed, Walking Wake and Iron Leaves.

Today’s Pokémon Presents stream has given Pokémon Scarlet & Violet players plenty to be happy about. Not only has new DLC: The Hidden Treasures of Area Zero been announced, but two brand new Pokémon have been revealed that will be available later today.

Walking Wake and Iron Leaves are two new Paradox Pokémon that will be appearing in Tera Raid battles later today, as soon as the next update is ready. Paradox Pokémon are variants on Pokémon we already know and love, and these two are no different. Walking Wake is clearly a past variant on Suicune, while Iron Leaves is a future variant of Virizion.

Of course, both of these Pokémon are each just one member of a trio. Suicune is part of the Legendary Beasts alongside Entei and Raikou, while Virizion is part of the Swords of Justice with Terrakion and Cobalion. This naturally makes questions arise of whether we’ll be seeing new paradox versions of those Pokémon in future events too.

This event is set to run from Monday, February 27, 2023 to Sunday, March 12, 2023, giving you exactly two weeks to get in and catch these Pokémon. Only one of each can be caught per save file, although you can still get some great rewards after that by beating the raids. If you miss your chance, don’t worry, as they will be available in future events, but we have no idea when that will be just yet.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet DLC: The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero announced

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC are finally on their way, with all sorts of new secrets to be found in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero.

After a few months of speculation, Pokémon Scarlet & Violet has finally had some brand new DLC announced. The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero is coming in two parts, with the first dropping Fall 2023 and the second in Winter 2023. There’s been a lot of cool stuff teased for both parts, so we’ll break down everything you need to know.

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Greninja Tera Raid event: Moveset predictions and possible counters

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet’s next 7-star raid event has been announced, so we’ll walk through possible Greninja movesets and counters.

Greninja is the latest Pokémon to feature in the 7-star Tera Raid events in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet for the weekends of January 27 and February 10. This follows the pattern of Starter Pokémon being the choice for these events, but this is the first not to be a Fire-type. Greninja is a Water/Dark-type, but for this raid, it will have a Tera-type of Poison. This means you’ll need to exploit Poison’s weaknesses while steering clear of Greninja’s wide movepool.

We don’t know exactly what its moveset will be just yet, but we’ve put together some possibilities so that you know what to consider when preparing a Pokémon. We’ll also be suggesting Pokémon that will hopefully be good for this raid depending on which build we end up having to face off against.
