The Dallas Mavericks will host the Phoenix Suns on Monday night from the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

The Dallas Mavericks have really struggled over the last few weeks and will look to bounce back after a tough 111-105 loss to the Suns on Saturday. As for the Suns, they are looking for their third straight win after a tough stretch where they lost five of six games. We should see some Luka Doncic tonight as he looks to propel the Mavs past the Suns this evening.

This should be a fantastic matchup between the Suns and Mavericks, here is everything you need to know to stream the NBA action tonight.

Phoenix Suns vs. Dallas Mavericks

  • When: Monday, February 1
  • Time: 8:30 p.m. ET
  • TV Channel: NBA TV

Prediction: I do like the Suns tonight with the 2.5 points against a struggling Dallas Mavericks squad. Luka will have his points but the Suns offense will be too much for the Mavs to handle.

Bet: Phoenix Suns +2.5

Prediction

Suns 122, Mavericks 118

Moneyline (ML)

The Mavericks (-303) are coming off a convincing 107-97 road win over the Oklahoma City Thunder Monday. They’re 6-4 across their last 10 games but just 13-11 at home for the season while holding down fifth place in the Western Conference. I like the SUNS (+240) in an upset spot on the road. They lost 114-109 on the road against the Memphis Grizzlies Sunday, but they’re 5-5 over their last 10 games and an adequate 10-11 on the road for the season.

The Mavs took a 120-113 win in Phoenix Nov. 29 in the only head-to-head meeting of the season thus far, but the Suns were without star big man Deandre Ayton. I like this bet a lot if Rubio is able to play Tuesday.

New to sports betting? A $10 bet on the Suns to win outright as underdogs returns a profit of $24.

Line/Against the Spread (ATS)

Back the SUNS (+7.5, -115). Liking the visitors to win outright, they need to be hedged with 7.5 points of insurance in the event of a loss. Phoenix is 23-22-1 against the spread on the season and 13-8 on the road. Dallas is 24-19-3 ATS overall but just 9-14-1 at home. The Mavs are also just 3-2-1 ATS when playing the second half of a back-to-back, the Suns are 16-12-0 ATS when playing on one day of rest.

Over/Under (O/U)

Take the OVER 227.5 (-110). Both teams have favored the Over this season. The first meeting of the 2019-20 campaign fell just shy of Tuesday’s projection, but Ayton has been a big addition for the Suns’ offense. The two teams combine to score 229.3 points per game.
