2024 Wyndham Championship prize money payouts for each PGA Tour player at Sedgefield Country Club

In his 89 start, Rai finally takes home a first-place check.

In 88 starts on the PGA Tour, Aaron Rai accrued $6.7 million in on-course earnings. Sunday at the Wyndham Championship, Rai banked $1.422 million for winning his first PGA Tour event.

Rai also earned a two-year exemption on Tour and made a big jump from 53rd to 25th in the FedEx Cup Playoff standings. Only the top 70 make the playoffs, which he was already in but now he’s also earned a spot in the second leg of the playoffs, the BMW Championship.

Rai’s best finish before the Wyndham was a tie for second at the Rocket Mortgage Classic five weeks ago. Since then he’s posted a T-7, T-4 and T-75.

Amateur Luke Clanton placed solo fifth, his fifth made cut in five tries this year but his status bars him from collecting paychecks.

Matt Kuchar still has to finish the 18th hole. He’s the lone golfer who chose not to finish his round Sunday, leaving his spot in a bit of flux. He’s tied for 12th now, which is good for $144,965. A birdie would move him into a six-way tie for seventh, and that would mean he’d pocket $223,833. Should he bogey the last hole, he’d drop into a seven-way tie for 21st and the payday for that is $77,025.

He captured the 2024 3M Open on Sunday, making birdie on the final hole to top Max Greyserman by a shot at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota. It’s Vegas’ first win since the 2017 RBC Canadian Open and he’ll pocket the $1,458,000 winner’s check that goes with the 3M trophy.

All is not lost for Greyserman, however, as the runner-up finish is the best of his Tour career (23 starts) and he will take home $882,900.

Here’s a closer look at how much each player made at the 2024 3M Open from a purse of $8.1 million.

2024 Genesis Scottish Open prize money payouts for each PGA Tour player

Bobby Mac, take a bow.

Bobby Mac, take a bow.

Robert MacIntyre birdied the 72nd hole to capture his national open, the 2024 Genesis Scottish Open, and earn his second PGA Tour victory this season. With his heroics, which included playing the final five holes in 4 under to catch Adam Scott, he will take home $1.62 million.

MacIntyre also won the RBC Canadian Open earlier this season.

All is not lost for the Aussie, however, as Scott is pocketing $981,000. Rory McIlroy, who won in 2023, finished T-4 alongside Ludvig Aberg, who shot 3 over in the final round.

Here’s a closer look at how much each player made at the 2024 Genesis Scottish Open from a purse of $9 million.

2024 John Deere Classic prize money payouts for each PGA Tour player

A big pay day for Davis Thompson.

The John Deere Classic has produced more first-time winners than any other PGA Tour event, and this week, that was Davis Thompson.

The 25-year-old won the 2024 John Deere Classic at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois, on Sunday for his first win in 63 Tour starts. With that, he earned 500 FedEx Cup points and more importantly took home the biggest check of his career for $1.44 million.

There was a three-way tie for second between Michael Thorbjornsen, C.T. Pan and Luke Clanton. For Thorbjornsen and Pan, they each will take home $712,000. Unfortunately for Clanton, as an amateur, he can’t collect any prize money.

Here’s a closer look at how much each player made at the 2024 John Deere Classic from a purse of $8 million.

2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic prize money payouts for each PGA Tour player at Detroit Golf Club

Here’s a closer look at who made what in Motown.

Aussie Cam Davis made more money in four days in Detroit than he had made in his previous 16 PGA Tour starts this season.

Davis, 29, closed in 70 and won the Rocket Mortgage Classic for the second time in his career. In doing so, he took home $1.656 million from a purse of $9.2 million. Davis hadn’t recorded a top-10 finish all season. His best result was a T-12 at the Masters in April. His season earnings soared to $3,061,884.

Akshay Bhatia was the hard-luck loser after missing a 5-foot par putt at 18. If it’s any consolation, the 22-year-old surpassed $7 million in career earnings, which is making his decision to skip college look like a wise one.

Aaron Rai, a 54-hole co-leader, settled for T-3 but cracked $6 million and passed Jack Nicklaus ($5,734,031) and Hale Irwin ($5,966,031) on the career money list. Among those at T-3 was 25-year-old Aussie Min Woo Lee, who crossed $5 million in career earnings.

Cameron Young (73) cracked the shaft of his driver in anger on the 14th hole and settled for a T-6 finish. It wasn’t all bad news for Young, who is still seeking his first Tour title. He did pass major winner Steve Elkington on the career money list as he neared $16 million in earnings.

Here’s a closer look at who made what in Motown.

2024 Travelers Championship prize money payouts for each PGA Tour player

It’s Groundhog Day, again, for Scottie Scheffler.

Not even protestors on the 18th green can stop Scottie Scheffler.

He won for the sixth time this season Sunday, taking home the title at the 2024 Travelers Championship after beating Tom Kim on the first playoff hole with a par. It’s his fifth win in a signature event this season and another $3.6 million prize he’s taking home.

For Tom Kim, while he won’t take home a trophy, he does collect $2.16 million for his best finish since winning at the Shriners Children’s Open in the fall.

Here’s a closer look at how much each player made at the 2024 Travelers Championship from a purse of $20 million.
