The Baltimore Ravens have gotten plenty of contributions from their 2018 draft class. Lamar Jackson, Orlando Brown Jr., and Mark Andrews are just a few of the names from the group that have grown into good NFL players. However, there’s one name that some people overlook when talking about just how good Baltimore’s draft haul was three years ago.
Bradley Bozeman has established himself as a quality interior offensive lineman. After playing center at the University of Alabama, he was selected with the 218th pick in 2018 with the hopes of turning into a serviceable player. He’s far surpassed those expectations as he’s grown into a good left guard, playing in key games and big moments for the franchise.
When asked about Bozeman during Baltimore’s 2021 pre-draft press conference, John Harbaugh felt confident that the offensive lineman will be a key piece for the Ravens’ offense this upcoming season and expressed that he’s proven himself as a starter at the NFL level.

With Baltimore having questions as to who will start at left guard and center in 2021, it seems that Bozeman will be penciled in at one of the two positions. As Harbaugh notes, the draft and the rest of free agency are still unknowns, so the Ravens could bring in more players to compete for spots along the line.
Bozeman could move to center for the Ravens in 2021, as right now the only other centers on the roster are Patrick Mekari and Trystan Colon-Castillo. That would most likely mean Ben Powers or another option would move over to left guard. The team could also opt to keep Bozeman at left guard and start Mekari, Colon-Castillo, or another outside option who isn’t on the team yet. However, what seems set in stone is that Bozeman has earned the trust of the coaching staff and will be starting somewhere this season.
