The Carolina Panthers have officially begun their process of cutting down their 80-man roster, with the deadline to submit an initial 53-man roster Saturday at 4 p.m. EST. Here’s a list of all the players that have been released by the team so far:
S Quin Blanding
Panthers have released safety Quin Blanding.

Blanding was at the bottom of the defensive back depth chart and faced an uphill battle to make the 53-man roster all throughout camp.
TE Temarrick Hemingway
Panthers have released TE Temarrick Hemingway, per league source.

Many thought Hemingway would make the cut, so this move comes as a mild surprise. The two tight ends left in the battle to backup Ian Thomas and Chris Manhertz are Giovanni Ricci and Colin Thompson.
DE Austin Larkin
Panthers have cut DE Austin Larkin, per source. Practice squad a strong possibility if he clears waivers.

Larkin always had an uphill battle to make the roster given the team’s depth on the edge. His getting cut is good news for veterans like Marquis Haynes.
