Coming off a big offensive Week 1 showing, the Green Bay Packers (1-0) are moderate favorites over the Detroit Lions (0-1) when they meet at 1 p.m. ET Sunday during NFL Week 2 action.
Green Bay QB Aaron Rodgers put on a clinic in a 43-34 victory over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1, throwing for 364 yards and four touchdowns. Davante Adams did most of that damage, hauling in 14 catches for 156 yards and two touchdowns. Meanwhile, the Lions led the Chicago Bears most of the game before giving up a late score and losing 27-23. QB Matthew Stafford had the team in position to win at the end, but rookie RB D’Andre Swift couldn’t come up with a catch in the end zone to seal the Chicago victory.
According to the oddsmakers at BetMGM Sportsbook, the Packers are 5.5-point favorites over the Lions and this game is expected to be a decent offensive output with the Over/Under set at 47.5 points.
