Despite leading throughout the game, the Golden State Warriors couldn’t close out the Indiana Pacers at Chase Center on Tuesday, 104-95.

After coming back against the Los Angeles Clippers and surviving a rally from the Toronto Raptors, the Golden State Warriors winning streak came to a close with the Indiana Pacers in town on Tuesday night.

Despite Golden State leading throughout the contest, the Pacers closed out the Warriors with a 31-20 advantage in the final quarter. Aaron Holiday and Myles Turner combined for 18 points in the fourth quarter to steal the game late against the Warriors. With five minutes remaining, the Pacers cracked off a 13-0 run to take control of the game, 104-95.

Although the Warriors played fierce defense against Indiana, they had no answer for Turner. The Indiana center led the Pacers with 22 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field with 11 rebounds and four blocks. Along with his presence inside, Turner hurt the Warriors from beyond the arc, hitting a trio of triples. Turner knocked down a 3-pointer to give Indiana a three-point lead with three minutes remaining in the contest.

Golden State will officially finish their seven-game homestand with a 4-3 record.

The Warriors will now set out on a tough road trip with matchups against three potential Western Conference playoff teams. Over the next three games, the Warriors will suit up against the Denver Nuggets, Phoenix Suns and the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers.
