The Indiana Pacers (40-32) take on the LA Clippers (44-26) Monday with tip-off from Crypto.com Arena set for 10:30 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Pacers vs. Clippers odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.
Season series: Clippers lead 1-0
The Pacers fell in a wild one Sunday at the Los Angeles Lakers 150-145. They fell behind and made a giant push in the 4th, outscoring LA 46-34 but fell just short on the road as 2.5-point underdogs. F Pascal Siakam had 36 points and 12 boards. Indiana is 2-1 on a current 5-game road trip and holds a half-game lead over the Miami Heat for 6th place in the East.
The Clippers also lost Sunday, getting upset 121-107 by the Philadelphia 76ers as 9-point favorites. The Sixers were raining 3’s, going 18-for-37 (48.6%) in the game and came away with the win. The Clippers have been up-and-down recently as they’re 5-5 over their last 10 and are just a half-game ahead of New Orleans for 4th place in the West.
The Clippers — as 4-point favorites — dusted the Pacers in Indiana 151-127 in December. Even though it was high, the Over (252.5) had no problem cashing.

Pacers at Clippers and predictions
Prediction
Clippers 125, Pacers 121
Moneyline
Ultimately, go with the home side here, but the Pacers don’t deserve to be +185 underdogs. I don’t have a ton of confidence in the Clippers right now, and they’re on a back-to-back, too. But I give the Pacers less of a chance because they expended so much energy in the 150-145 game Sunday night. The Clippers are also 22-12 at home.
There’s no play on the expensive moneyline, but a solid player prop is Clippers F PAUL GEORGE OVER 3.5 3-POINTERS (+120).
George has hit four 3’s in 4 straight games, shooting 45.7% in the process. He drilled 5 of them against his former team in December.
Against the spread
The Clippers are 7-3 straight up in the last 10 against Indy, but they’re just 3-7 ATS in those 10 contests. They’re also 3-7 ATS in their last 10 overall — 5-5 straight up.
BET PACERS +5.5 (-105).
Over/Under
The books are overcorrecting for the back-to-backs both teams are on. As mentioned, the total for their December meeting was 252.5 with the Over easily hitting.
The Over is 7-3 in the Clippers’ last 10 games, and the last 10 Pacers-Clippers matchups. The Pacers are just 3-7 O/U in their last 10, but this O/U line is too low.
TAKE OVER 233.5 (-115).
