Money line
Despite losing 4 in a row, the Red Sox are still favored at home against the surging Orioles. That’s not a bet I want to take after seeing the way Boston has played recently.
I actually like the ORIOLES (+110) to win straight up on the road and continue their hot streak. Voth has pitched much better with the Orioles than he did with Washington, posting a 3.19 ERA in Baltimore. He won’t shut down a powerful Red Sox lineup, but he should be able to hold them in check enough.

Run line/Against the spread
While I do like the Orioles in this matchup, I don’t like the idea of taking them to cover the spread at -175. It’s not worth the juice and I’d much rather just bet them to win outright against a team they’ve beaten 5 of 8 times this year. PASS.
Over/Under
In their last 2 meetings, at least 10 runs were scored in each (10-0 and 12-2). I don’t think Thursday’s score will be as lopsided, but this is a weaker pitching matchup at a hitter-friendly park.
The total is set higher at 9.5, but it’s still a number I’d bet the OVER (-125) on. I would just like to see the line come down a bit closer to even money.
