The Oregon State Beavers (3-12, 1-4 Pac-12) visit the No. 3 UCLA Bruins (10-2, 2-1) in a Saturday night Pac-12 tilt in Los Angeles. The contest at Pauley Pavilion is slated to tip off at 10:30 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Oregon State vs. UCLA odds and lines and make our expert college basketball picks, predictions and bets.
Rankings courtesy of the Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports.
Oregon State ranks last in the Pac-12, yielding 73.3 points per game. The Beavers have won just twice since Nov. 10. To OSU’s credit, the team has played a very difficult schedule to date, but the Beavers have certainly encountered very real problems on the glass and at the charity stripe.
The Bruins climbed their way to No. 3 by winning five straight games before falling to Oregon in overtime (84-81) Wednesday. It has been a start-and-stop climb as UCLA has had six games canceled or postponed over the last six weeks. On Wednesday, the Bruins went just 7-of-25 (28.0 percent) from distance. They have connected on just 25.6% of attempts from 3-point-land over their last two games.

Oregon State at UCLA odds, lines, picks and predictions
Prediction
UCLA 83, Oregon State 66
Money line
Oregon State has played better of late than what’s indicated by its record. And UCLA is coming off a stumble. BRUINS (-1600) is a fair price, though one only certain bankrolls can properly leverage. The shooting-defense-rebounding equation — all significant advantages for UCLA — is a math problem that rolls out to a 5% percent probability or worse. And it’s Oregon State with the problem.
Against the spread
UCLA simply hasn’t been closing the deal like it should. Witness a 2-6 mark ATS since Nov. 22.
The money-line price is more likeable, but risk-averse bettors may want to take a crack at UCLA -16.5 (-110).
Over/Under
The Over is 11-4 across OSU’s 15 games. And it’s 6-1 in the Bruins’ last seven games as a home favorite.
OSU’s offense has been on a stealth improvement trend line of late, and UCLA’s close-out problems bring a 150-155 total just enough into focus.
There is a slight lean on the OVER 145.5 (-110).
