The Oklahoma Sooners (4-3, 1-3 SEC) and the No. 18 Ole Miss Rebels (5-2, 1-2) meet at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium Saturday. Kickoff from Oxford, Miss., is slated for noon ET (ESPN). Below, we look at Oklahoma vs. Ole Miss odds from BetMGM Sportsbook’s college football odds before making our expert college football picks and predictions later in the week.
Oklahoma suffered its 2nd consecutive home loss, falling 35-9 as 1-point underdogs to South Carolina last Saturday. The Sooners have struggled offensively, managing only 12 points across their last 2 games. QB Michael Hawkins Jr. was benched in the 1st quarter after throwing 2 interceptions and fumbling — the Sooners finished with 4 turnovers. In relief, QB Jackson Arnold completed 18 of 36 passes for 225 yards and a touchdown, but it wasn’t enough to turn the tide.
After a week off, Ole Miss looks to regroup following a heartbreaking 29-26 overtime loss as a 4-point road favorite to the then-No. 10, now-No. 7 LSU Tigers. QB Jaxson Dart threw for 284 yards with 1 TD and 1 pick. His main targets were WRs Cayden Lee (9 catches, 132 yards), and Tre Harris (7 catches, 102 yards, 1 TD). RB Ulysses Bentley IV finished with 107 rushing yards and a score on 11 carries.

Oklahoma vs. Ole Miss head-to-head
Oklahoma and Ole Miss have faced off just once in their college football history, making this new SEC matchup particularly unique.
The lone meeting occurred on New Year’s Eve in 1999 at the Independence Bowl in Shreveport, La. In a thrilling contest, Ole Miss emerged victorious, defeating Oklahoma 27-25. The Rebels led 21-3 at the half, but the Sooners rallied and grabbed a 25-24 lead with 2:17 to go behind QB Josh Heupel — yes, the same guy that is now coaching the 8th-ranked Tennessee Volunteers.
However, Old Miss drove down the field to set up K Les Binkley’s game-winning, 39-yard field as time expired.
Despite the limited history, both programs boast an impressive combined total of 10 national championships — Oklahoma 7, Ole Miss 3 — leaving fans eager for a potential rivalry in the future.
