After beating UNC 80-72 last Sunday as 1-point underdogs, Virginia Tech did not fall victim to a hangover in its next matchup and blew out Dayton 77-49 and covered the 7-point spread by 21 points.
Oklahoma State, after losing 74-64 to No. 5 UConn 74-64 on Dec. 1, returned home to beat Sam Houston State 65-51 as an 8-point favorite. It returns to the northeast for this game, and it will be another difficult challenge for the Cowboys.

Oklahoma State can win this game, but my feeling is the Hokies will win and cover which makes me not want to use the ML wager here. If you are entering a parlay though, VT moneyline is a good addition.
Against the spread
BET VIRGINIA TECH -2.5 (-110).
Neither of these teams have been scoring a lot of points this season as a rule. But the Hokies had 80 against the Tar Heels and 77 against Dayton. I trust its scoring a bit more then the Cowboys and with the Cowboys making a 2nd trip in as many weeks to the East Coast, I like the Hokies to win this game by at least 3 points. But not much more than 3. VT -2.5 (-110) is my play here.
Over/Under
BET UNDER 133.5 (-115).
As I said, neither of these teams score in buckets. The Hokies are 6 of 10 to the Under this season while the Cowboys are 5 of 9. This will be another lower-scoring game between 2 teams which want to control the clock. Under 133.5 (-115) is my favorite play here.
