The No. 5 Indiana Hoosiers (10-0, 7-0 Big Ten) and the second-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes (9-1, 6-1) meet Saturday at Ohio Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for noon ET (FOX). Below, we look at Indiana vs. Ohio State odds from BetMGM Sportsbook’s college football odds before making our expert college football picks and predictions later in the week.
The surprising Hoosiers are coming off a bye week after easing by the visiting Michigan Wolverines 20-15 Nov. 9, but IU didn’t come close to covering as a 14.5-point favorite as the Under (47.5) cashed. Coach Curt Cignetti, in his first year at Indiana after 2 seasons at James Madison, has brought a winning attitude to Bloomington as IU has posted its best start in school history.
The Hoosiers rank second in scoring at 43.9 points per game — Miami (45.0) is first, according to NCAA.com. Indiana has 59 touchdowns for an average of 5.9 per game with the offense scoring 57 of those with 15 different offensive players finding the end zone.
QB Kurtis Rourke, who transferred from Ohio University, has thrown 21 TDs and completed 71.8% of his passes for 2,410 yards. RB Justice Ellison, a transfer from Wake Forest, has gobbled up 686 yards with 9 TDs, while RB Ty Son Lawton also has 9 rushing TDs with 508 yards. Lawton followed Cignetti to IU from James Madison. WR Elijah Sarratt, also a transfer from JMU, leads the Hoosiers with 685 receiving yards and 6 TDs.
The Buckeyes roughed up the Northwestern Wildcats 31-7 at Wrigley Field in Chicago Saturday, but they failed to cover as 28-point favorites with the Under (43.5) hitting. Ohio State has won 4 in a row since its one setback, a 32-31 loss at now-No. 1 Oregon. The Under has cashed in 4 straight for Ohio State, with the defense allowing only 9.3 PPG in the span.

Indiana at Ohio State head-to-head
Ohio State leads all-time series 79-12-5, including 28 consecutive wins dating back to 1991. That does not include a vacated 38-10 Ohio State win in 2010. Toss in a 27-27 tie in 1990 in Bloomington and the Buckeyes are 29-0-1 in the past 30 contests vs. the Hoosiers.
In last season’s opener, Ohio State won 23-3 last season but didn’t cover as a 30-point road favorite with the Under (59.5) easily hitting. As a matter of fact, the Hoosiers are 6-4 ATS in the last 10 contests vs. their east neighbors, while the Over is 7-3.
The Hoosiers’ last win in the series came Oct. 8, 1988, at home behind a 41-7 rout. Their last win at The Horseshoe was Oct. 10, 1987, a 31-10 victory in what then-OSU coach Earle Bruce called “the darkest day in Ohio State football since I have been associated with it [as a freshman in 1949].”
That IU win snapped a 23-game Ohio State win streak in the series. Including a scoreless tie in 1959, Ohio State is 59-2-2 vs. Indiana in the last 63 meetings dating back to 1952.
Five of Indiana’s victories in this series occurred in the first 6 meetings — between 1901-13 with IU going 5-0-1.
