Serge Ibaka and OG Anunoby are trendsetters, y’all. If the NBA had a first-team All-Fashion (which they probably should?), they’d both make the roster.

Look no further than their own team for proof. Before they had their little dust up about who put who on to the scarf game — which is a very important discussion, by the way — I hadn’t seen nary a single scarf in Toronto.

Now, ALL WE SEE ARE SCARVES. The team’s Twitter account has basically turned into a scarf stan account — not exactly a terrible way to be but definitely a swerve we were not expecting.

Here’s Canada’s most fly scarf models on their team plane.

Great, great picture. Lots of scarves, lots of warmth. But, yo, somebody let me know what Kyle Lowry is doing here. Bruh.

Anyway, here they are getting off the team plane. Look. At. These. Looks. This is the energy I aspire to have when I wake up each and every day.

They even got Nick Nurse on board! Sheesh. That scarf game is crazy, fam.

The Raptors’ battle over who wears the best scarves went over the top

Who won in the battle of Ibaka vs. Anunoby?

The NBA trade deadline is the second-best thing happening in the league right now.

The best thing? It’s the scarf-off we just witnessed between Toronto Raptors teammates OG Anunoby and Serge Ibaka.

In a recent clip that went viral, the two of them were arguing about fashion. Anunoby said that he helped Ibaka discover some styles, which insulted the heck out of Ibaka. It led to Anunoby saying he turned Ibaka on to scarves, and in the middle of their heated argument, Anunoby repeated, “What about scarves?”

You have to stop what you’re doing and watch this amazing clip that I’ve now viewed about 20 times:

So what happened next? It’s pre-game SCARF-OFF! Let’s start with Anunoby:

Pretty good. But then Ibaka got him.

I think Ibaka wins this one easily. But we’re all winners in this one, really.

Raptors OG Anunoby wears shirt of LeBron hitting game-winner over him

The young swingman of the Toronto Raptors wore a shirt of LeBron hitting a game-winner over him for a fashion show run by Serge Ibaka.

While LeBron James and his Los Angeles Lakers had a dominant first half against Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks, one of LeBron’s most recent playoff triumphs was revived in Toronto at a fashion show run by Raptors big man Serge Ibaka.

Ibaka, who has a show with LeBron’s UNINTERRUPTED sports media company, reportedly had a fashion show on Friday night. In the fashion show, Ibaka got very overt with the imagery as he had his teammate OG Anunoby wear a t-shirt showing James’ game-winner over Anunoby in Game 3 of the 2018 Eastern Conference semifinals between LeBron’s Cavaliers and the Raptors.

You can see the original post on Anunoby’s Instagram page. It’s a hilarious choice by Ibaka and a great troll to make Anunoby wear a shirt with that moment. It’s also something only a team that just won a championship can joke about. Now that they overcame LeBron beating them to win the 2019 title, it’s become some great fashion show fodder.
