After defeating Robert Morris and Virginia last weekend, Notre Dame’s women’s lacrosse team will take on No. 4 Boston College on Saturday in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament.
This is the fifth appearance in the quarterfinals all-time for Notre Dame and is the second time in program history that the Irish has won a pair of tournament games.
A win over Boston College would secure Notre Dame their second appearance in the national semifinals with their only previous appearance coming in 2006.
Today’s match is set to take place at 3 p.m. at Newton Lacrosse & Soccer Field, Newton, Massachusetts, and can be seen on ESPN3.
