Ohio State leads the all-time series 65-14-1, including wins in each of the past 10 matchups. That includes a 21-7 victory in Evanston in the most recent meeting (November 2022) in a game with terrible windy conditions.

This will be the first meeting at a neutral site since Dec. 19, 2020, in the Big Ten Championship Game when the Buckeyes posted a 22-10 win at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

The last Wildcats’ victory a 33-w7 win in Evanston Oct. 2, 2004. Prior to that, their last win in the series was in 1971.

Penn State won 31-0 in a rout of the Iowa Hawkeyes to keep its dominant start to the season rolling. QB Drew Allar was solid in the win, completing 25 of 37 passes for 166 yards and 4 TDs, but it was the Nittany Lions’ defense and run game that proved pivotal in the win.

Northwestern won 37-34 in OT Saturday vs. the Minnesota Golden Gophers to complete its comeback. In overtime the Wildcats defense held the Gophers to a field goal, and QB Ben Bryant would then score on the offenses 1st play of overtime on a 25-yard TD pass. Bryant completed 33 of 49 passes for 396 yards and 4 TDs.

Northwestern heads to Ann Arbor fresh off a 21-7 win over Rutgers. NU allowed just 222 total yards in the contest, its fewest against an FBS foe since Oct. 24 (207 vs. Maryland). And now the winless-on-the-road (0-2) Wildcats return to the Big House, a place they haven’t seen since 2015.
