The North Carolina Tarheels will open their season on Friday night when they face the Virginia Tech Hokies from Lane Stadium.
North Carolina is coming off another great season under head coach Mack Brown where they finished 8-4 on the season but fell in the Orange Bowl. Sam Howell will be back under center so they’re expecting another solid year from Howell. Meanwhile, Virginia Tech had a disappointing season last year while only winning 5 games, they will look to improve this season and their quest will begin on Friday night.
