Game day Tipico betting odds for Florida basketball at Kentucky Wildcats

Here’s a look at the odds for this evening’s Gators at Wildcats matchup.

Florida basketball hits the road on Saturday, riding a four-game winning streak into Lexington where they will face a top-five ranked Kentucky Wildcats team. Amassing a five-game streak of its own, UK looks to be one of the toughest opponents the Gators face this season, and for a team that has still struggled to find its identity during the soft part of its schedule, things could get really rough in Rupp Arena if they don’t bring their A-game.

Florida remains shut out of both major polls while Kentucky is No. 4 in the Coaches Poll and No. 5 in the AP Poll, a stark contrast of two Southeastern Conference foes. The matchup represents a Quadrant 1 game for the Gators while for the ‘Cats this will be of the Quadrant 2 variety. A loss for UF would not be devastating to its NCAA Tournament hopes but a win would do wonders for its bubble status.

However, the oddsmakers are skeptical that Florida can pull this off.

The Tipico Sportsbook favors the Wildcats by 10.5-points over the Gators while the over/under is set at 140.5. The money lines for Kentucky and Florida are minus-600 and plus-420, respectively, as of 11 a.m. EST on Saturday morning.

Big moves happened across the NBA on trade deadline Thursday, and the odds to win the Larry O’Brien trophy were shaken up as a result.

Perhaps no deal was bigger than the Brooklyn Nets shipping SG James Harden and PF Paul Millsap to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for PG Ben Simmons, SG Seth Curry, C Andre Drummond and two first-round draft picks.

2022 Super Bowl 56 picks, odds and predictions

2022 Super Bowl picks for the money line, spread and Over/Under.

It is the Cincinnati Bengals vs. Los Angeles Rams for all the marbles this weekend when they meet in Super Bowl 56 Sunday at 6:30 p.m. EST at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Here is a look at the odds for this evening’s Gators vs Bulldogs matchup.

It will not carry quite the luster that the annual gridiron matchup has, but nonetheless, Wednesday night’s game between Florida basketball and the Georgia Bulldogs should be a fun one for Gators fans. The good guys have been riding a three-game winning streak as well as four of their last six while the rival ‘Dawgs have dropped eleven of their last 12.

While tonight’s game offers Florida a great opportunity to improve its Southeastern Conference record and climb back up to the .500 mark, it only counts as a Quadrant 4 matchup in the NET rankings. Currently sitting at No. 207, Georgia is well behind the pack and a win will do little to improve the Gators’ NCAA Tournament resume — but a loss would be absolutely devastating for any hopes of attending the Big Dance. The good news is that the oddsmakers feel good about UF in this one.

The Tipico Sportsbook favors the Gators by 13.5-points over the Bulldogs while the over/under is set at 143.5. The money lines for Florida and Georgia are minus-1200 and plus-700, respectively, as of 11 a.m. EST on Wednesday morning.

Twitter reacts to Titans signing Vrabel, Robinson to contract extensions

The reaction to the contract extensions for Vrabel and Robinson were overwhelmingly positive.

On Tuesday, the Tennessee Titans announced something we’ve been expecting for some time now: contract extensions for head coach Mike Vrabel and general manager Jon Robinson.

The extensions are well-deserved for both, as the Titans have had plenty of success under the pair, including three straight trips to the playoffs, two straight division titles, and an AFC Championship Game appearance.

All that’s left, of course, is a Super Bowl.

Both were especially exceptional this past regular season. Robinson was able to successfully bring players in to help fill an insane amount of injury voids, while Vrabel guided the NFL record 91 players that saw the field for Tennessee to a 12-5 record and the No. 1 seed in the conference.
